Op,I can't see any drainage system by the road side.

Every Roads built by The Governor MUST go with two side drainage... I think he copied that from Peter Obi and copied Street lighting from Sullivan of Enugu state . In Abakaliki, Street nlights must be on

It is three flyovers :
-1 At presco junction
-2 At Akanu Ibiam round about
-3 At international market, opposite Ochudo city.
Udo diri gi.

That's very good. I just hope he doesn't run out of fund to complete those projects because constructing 3 flyovers with other roads at the same time is not easy considering what the state gets from federal allocation.

Nwanne, Dave Umahi never hoped for monthly allocation from Abuja to run his administration if not the story would be a different thing today. Tax and more taxes, I speak now every shops paid to the government account... N14,000.
All the transport company in the state pay their taxes and everyone is even happy paying it.

I see, that's good. But I think he should tax more those that have mining pits and stone crushing machines at Ezza.. Those guys are making enough money on daily basis..

The rice is very neat and can be place side by side with foreign rice, no difference in price, though Abakaliki rice is of two grade. High quality and low quality.

Memories...I remember going through that road to presco campus years ago as a student. I really should visit AI again and soon.
I hope the good road came with lights? Abakaliki was one of the darkest cities in Nigeria back then.

No business is left out even schools, civil servants are in for it but seems to be happy because works are on going, at least you see where ur money is being put.

Sorry to say this cos am curios,na so pple plenty reach for abakaliki to warrant the construction of THREE flyovers, I feel it's waste of resources cos flyovers is only meant to relieve traffic not to show off.my opinion tho.

It doesn't matter, infrastructure is infrastructure.

well what you don't know is beyond you. What did you know about Abakaliki and it's population? 2.5 million people is not much to use 3 flyovers.

I live in a part of Port Harcourt where two very important roads were re-constructed by the present Rivers State governor.

Governance is a continuous process.

Besides like I have said on this forum before, a time will come when Nigerians will stop celebrating our Governor/Presidents for providing basic social infrastructure (eg: road construction)
