When I called them they said to go to the nearest MTN centre (which for me is Ozone)
Spent like an hour there because of queue sha but I got it done

According to Visafone FAQ page, Visafone data and voice plans would still be available. the only difference is, you now have access to Mtn gsm coverage, just like those with the normal Mtn sims. So, does this mean that the Visafone 1terabyte BlackBerry plan will still work, and on GSM phones? If so, that would be sweet.

"Will I be able to subscribe to MTN product & service once
the migration process is completed?

No, you will only be able to subscribe to only Services
designed for VISAFONE customers for Voice and Data.
MTN VAS services will be available for all Visafone

No, you will be charged based on Visafone product and
service tariff plans, remember you will retain your

Read well and understand me, I'm not saying MTN will not cancel the 10TB. Its 10TB and not 1TB. But according to them visafone users will continue using visafone plans and tariffs. Bla bla bla. If they don't keep to there words then they can be sued. And I've not swapped yet. I'm still using the 10TB plan on my BB. I just sub again yesterday.

Well, its now scarce cos visafone have stop producing it.

Will i be able to use another SIM apart from MTN?

Don't swap your sim.....old visafone Sims will still be active when MTN fully takes over and this old Sims will have some benefits

For all who have not swapped their VISAFONE to MTN and
