Please doesn't only signify a request. It is polite to use that word especially when in this case, I was correcting someone who's unknown to me. Some people get offended or irritated if corrected like this so beyond politeness, it was meant to forestall any rudeness and justify my going all out to put such a potentially rude person in his/her place.

How does a president so repeatedly and publicly deceive the people he governs by making vain claims and promises and yet still have people hailing him? Nah only God go help us for the next 3yrs oh...

I think Mr President should rather have kept mute on revealing details of the looters than promising and not keeping to it. it's disheartening and gradually we are loosing our trust in him. A true leader should be a person of integrity not minding the looters involved. We need our money, we need justice.
