Oftentimes the only language Nigerians understand is force and violence! But that's not the best way of life!

I support the breaking of their side mirrors if they choose to be lawless. If they were doing the right thing, they would have a leg to stand on but the reverse is the case.

Exactly!

You dont correct an offense with another one. He should thank his stars this nonsense didnt happen in the fct,he would be having plenty questions to answer from his superiors cos thats outside his job description.

Inasmuch as the offence was committed, it doesn't give a soldier the right to break side mirrors. Soldiers are not to deliberate civil matters. They are to be used in the case of war. Civil matters should be treated accordingly by the police. Seems these people don't know their function in the society.

that is the only language Nigerians understand. For them to do the right thing at times you need to whip them or punish them

Nigerians have to be some of the most indisciplined humans ever. Sometimes crazy approaches like this is really what NIgerians deserve; this is the only language most NIgerians understand.

nicely said. He's here doing shit while others are fighting for Nigeria which is their sole duty. Heard that in some countries, when in time of peace, they are trained to work in industries and are employed by the Federal government.

this is the problem we are having in Nigeria, as you condem the soldier action, you suppose to condem the actions of those goat drivers as well, they r the course of that trafic isn't it! Their likes are the reckless drivers who always course accidents on the highways! They need to be flog also.

Breaking side mirrors, a critical safety equipment is totally wrong and silly. That many people on this forum support this medieval act is a testimonial of how backward we are in Nigeria.
You've got to understand what Nigerians are made of before you can handle them. Do you think he would have succeeded in clearing the road by appealing to them to go back to their lanes?

exactly!! Nigerians are archaic and that is why many of them violate the simplest of rules and regulations hence they receive punishments meant for archaic people. if only to 'reset' their brains to normalcy, I support not only breaking the side mirrors but also having them flogged sir!
