No. They predicted that the "God's Kingdom" would come in 1914, and when that failed, they said it would come in 1925. That failed too. Then they began to say that God's Kingdom would not actually eliminate all non-believers, but rather it would occur on earth among the non-believers, and had already started. Since then they have given up trying to predict an actual year.

The world is wicked, is the earth wicked? it is you and I that are wicked, I don't know anywhere Revelation says that God will destroy the physical earth, there Is where in Revelation that some how portrays the earth in a bad light but in the same area it also talks about the sea, so it means stable human societies(earth) and the unstable (sea), it simply means mankind alienated from God, not the physical earth.

Most times everyone could read the state of mind of a typical atheist. Every christian has been there and come off it. Take the case of JOB, he could have easily resorted to being an atheist and have it within him that there is no God, but he must have asked himself, " what will I gain if I even do that. Even if I die I knw where I'm going". That alone kept him eventhough he has numerous unanswered questions just like we christians and some atheist have now.

Ours (christian) is that we trust God in all things that we do. Even while we learn, we trust Him to help us and He does. It's about belief. The bible isn't contradictory, not at all. What a typical atheist does is to open a scripture, grab one verse without even taking cognizance of whom is being referred to. It's not your fault atheists, that's why Devil has his own role to play. Using those unanswered questions, loss of loved ones, he (the devil) spits it in ur faces that no one cares for you. One thing is certain, Devil doesn't need anyone to obey him, he just want people not to believe in Jesus christ and his work(satan) is complete just when that person dies.

I'll never forget John Scriven and how God comforted him when he lost two beautiful women he would have married . He later wrote us that beautiful Song amidst all those tribulations. "What a friend we have in Jesus"

True Christian faith is not for everyone, Jesus said, the road that is broad and spacious, is leading to destruction, and MANY are the ones finding and taking that route, but narrow and Cramped is the road that leads to life and few are the ones finding it, Jesus commanded his disciples to preach from door to door to whoever that cares to listen, who are the ones doing that today? The bible said it clearly, apostle Paul said, I know that when we go away (die) many people will spring up and twist the the faith, and will deceive many into leaving the real faith and will not treat the ones who refused to follow them with kindness, is it not what is happening? BTW somebody said the bible is illogical, lols, this is not the first time somebody has made such a statement, but all those who said that, hundreds of years ago, where are they today? Forgotten. Where is the bible today? That is a question.

Now CHOOSE life, so that you and your children may live". You see, you make your choice, if you choose life, you will live, if you choose death, you will die, simple and short.
