must you guys use this things to start someone's day?.

I don't think about BUHARI and Nigeria between 6am -12noon. if you do.....your day will end on the left hand .

I usually think of BUHARI by 1pm and 3pm. that odd hour so that those wicked and evil spirit or demons will jam him on his way to travel.

BUHARI to fight QUARUPOCEAN inside plane touring the whole world.

those great nations were manufacturers , those great nation never depended only on oil as a main source of income.. Those great nation settled their indifferences first as a nation before developing, those great nation weren't as over populated with tribes that hate themselves like we are... I ask again , how do you see your fairytale prediction coming to pass?? Where exactly are we going to start from before becoming great??

Look at the bright side, people!

Personally, I have never stopped praying and hoping for the day that oil price and it's derivatives will hit rock bottom. The oil boom turned us into brainless assholes. We found a source of ready made cash, and our leaders stopped using their brains.

It's as simple as this: In the face of dwindling oil revenues, politicians will think deep before coming out to contest for, or seek appointments into offices. The awoof is no longer coming, so they have to work hard to scratch out every single penny from their states/ministries/constituencies.
When oil money is no longer available for sharing, we can now assess how intelligent or ingenious these crooks who have rode roughshod over the rest of us are.

Let's see those who can adapt and thrive in this shoddy country. It's the reason why regionalism was advocated. Lack of ideas has made Bubu say that the last national conference was a waste of time and money....just because regionalism was pointed as a way forward.
This is just the beginning. Only tough people last and come out stronger.

Not when all of them still depends on the central govt.
I understand ur points, it will be good for us. But it can only achieve its maximum purpose if states or regions are charged by law(constitution) to care of their affairs and pay small amount to FG. Try this and u will see competition amongst states, try this u will realise that most governors will not be in office past 1 or 2yrs, because they will be impeached if they ain't working, because it is whatever they gain from the works is what they will use to pay salaries to even those legislators that will impeach dem if they run on deficit.

Welcome to change.

We brought this upon ourselves. Wen we say we prefer evil to good. This is the result.

And to be frank, this is just d beginning. People that are saying things will get better under a Deceitful, Devilish Party APC. Are not conscious deep thinkers spiritually. Wat we facing now is beyond d physical and it's more of spiritual.

Wen u use lies, propaganda, defamation to remove a man that had a good mind for this country (GEJ).they told us GEJ is the most corrupt leader ever to rule Nigeria(someone that did not allocate one oil bloc to himself); but abacha, obj, ibb, danjuma, indimi, guwon, muritala, shagari, bayero, otedola, alakija, ameachi etc I laugh. That is the highest deceit I av heard And u think u will florish. It's not possible. God does not sleep nor slumber. He is aware of the happenings of this country.

So my brothers and sisters there is little or nothing u can do about it. It's beyond ur power and APC. It's only God that can salvage d situation.

Don't be surprise of another upsurge of prices of commodities soon again.

I know people are already feeling d hardship. But read Judges in d bible. And u will understand wat is going on in Nigeria.

You're just exposing your ignorance. The drop in the price of oil and gas has nothing to do with Jonathan. He didn't steal yet there's a $2.1b from which Metuh got 400m he's willing to return. And Alison-Madueke is stuck here in the UK.

You guys are evil. May the wrath of God be with all those who for whatever reason don't mean well for my country.

Nigerian government is a useless as "p" in psychology.

1. Why would the price drop down to 50% and u still make profits? This is because the cost of the essential raw material which is crude dropped drastically. This is understandable and it is the right thing to do.

2. What I don't understand is why Nigerian government has kept on buying other petroleum products (AGO,PMS and kerosene) @ the same price they used to buy it when the prices of the raw material (crude) was above $100/barrel, now that it has dropped to $50/barrel?

If u apply the logic in my question 1 above on question 2, u all will agree with me that the prices of all petroleum products should automatically drop by @least 50%.the very same way the prices of LNG dropped by 50%. After all, na the same raw material dem d use produce both commodities.

So, why is naija still buying @ inflated prices? Or can't they negotiate? Abi dem no mind weda it's citizens are suffering or not?

They will keep quiet and allow them to be exploited.
I pray for my country naija.

Yes o brother, that's one thing I don't understand about this whole oil and gas stuff. The price keeps falling in the international market and yet we still pay MORE for it here in Nigeria, I'll want someone that understands to explain!

DON'T REALLY UNDERSTAND D ECONOMIC TERMS PLAYING HERE, BUT D LITTLE I UNDERSTAND IS DAT, SINCE WE DEPEND LARGELY ON SALES OF CRUDE OIL TO RUN OUR ECONOMY, D PAYMENT WE NOW GET HAS DROPPED.

FOR INSTANCE, LETS SAY WE USED TO SELL 2000 BARRELS PER DAY AS AT 2014 AND WE MADE $100,000 DAILY FROM SALES OF CRUDE, NOW IN 2016, D QUANTITY OF CRUDE WE SELL DAILY HAS DROPPED TO SAY 900 BARRELS PER DAY BECAUSE OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE INCREASED THEIR SUPPLY. ELEMENTARY ECONOMICS TEACHES DAT INCREASED SUPPLY LOWERS DEMAND. NOW DS ON ONE SIDE.

SECONDLY D "900" BARRELS WE NOW SUPPLY DAILY USED TO SELL AT 2000X $115 , BUT NOW WE SELL AT 900X $50 DAILY. DO D MATH AND U SEE THAT NIGERIA IS LEFT WITH LITTLE OR NOTHING TO RUN HER ECONOMY.

THIRDLY DEVALUATION SEEMED TO BE D ONLY WAY OUT. A SIMPLE UNDERSTANDING OF DEVALUATION TO ME IS ADDING MORE TAX ACROSS ON EVERY COMMODITY BOUGHT IN A COUNTRY. THIS IS SHOWN ON D CURRENCY BY WHICH WE EXCHANGE FOR GOODS IN D INTERNATIONAL MARKET WHICH IS DOLLAR. BY SO DOING, D GOVERNMENT WILL HAVE ENOUGH MONEY TO RUN PROJECTS, PAY WORKERS AND STUFF.

DZ AND MANY MORE ARE D REASONS Y FUEL PRICES ARE ALSO ON D HIGH SIDE.
I HOPE DS EXPLANATION CAN SUSTAIN U TILL WEN U GET A MORE TECHNICAL ONE FROM AN ECONOMIST.

The issues that affect our pump price are crude price and forex (dollar) price. The govt has devalued the naira to 285/$.
So, petrol was imported at 199, giving N87/l. But though crude prices dropped, dollar is now N285. Hence the increased pump price.
