This young boy's story is a food for thought

Some people will still blame Buhari/Jonathan for their misfortune

Some will blame their poor family background for not making it in life

Some will blame the course they studied in school for their unemployed status

Some will say they are poor cos they married a poor man

There is no good excuse for not being a success.

Go and read why Oprah Winfrey is has a Forbes self-made score of 10.

What about how Late Are Arisekola Alao rose from a common apprentice to a Billionaire?

Steve Jobs was born out of Wedlock,
Put up for adoption @ birth,
Dropped out of College,
He still changed the world.

What's your excuse

While it is much better than begging on the streets etc, I believe having a child change your tires represents a safety hazard.

Do you know one thing I like about them? Once they noticed a child can't cope academically they make sure the child acquires technical and vocational skills, that child over the years will master that skill, thats why "kazeem the mechanic" will always be sort after than most others. Also you should know that one of the panacea to crime control and poverty is technical and skill acquisition .

Personally, I don't see anything wrong in this. As long as the boy goes to school and he is serious with his studies. No problem. It's because of the fact that people see such things like vulcanizer as been demeaning. The boy is solving a problem, take it or leave it.
I have made up my mind that when my kids get into secondary school, they must learn something along with their studies, learning how to sew, hairdressing etc while schooling isn't a bad idea. It is a way making the kids independent and etc.
Imagine your kids in the University, and making some extra cash by sewing for his or her colleagues in the hostel.
