To the Glory of God, we the management of Tigerkenn Homes Ltd have been awarded another building contract. Details of the project are as follows;

Project : Construction of a 6 Units of 3 Bedroom Flats
Location: Enugu, Enugu state
Client : Nairalander
Contractor : Tigerkenn Homes Ltd
Project duration : 200 days
Budget : Yet to be revealed

We have just moved into this land. But we are not strangers to this site as I was the person that did this fencing of this land back in 2012.

We have bought all the materials for the setting out of this house since yesterday. .........

Looking into the well, the water level is very visible and high. A soil test is very important in this land.

Is just sand enough to fill the well. I have a well in one site that I want to close off but I was thinking we might have to put large rocks first before the sand.

Rock is equally good because the main thing we are working against is soil settlement later in time. I have filled up about 2 unneeded wells in other parts of Enugu and it has still not settled after a long time. Will attach those pictures later.

There has been some very heavy rains here in the night and this early morning.

Preparations for reinforcement of the foundation pads.......

In some pads, the structural drawings specifies double footings...........

We also have starter bars at the height of 3 meters high..........

After the foundation, we measured the columns for the specified mats and then did a blinding with concrete before standing the columns. ........
