Blocking their website is a bad tactics to me, these guys give out informations (clues) about their attacks before they strike, so why blocking their website? Why not try tracking it source? Since the NDA is invicible, tracking the origin of their website and who created it and the location it is, is a good way to start knowing them, not closing it down.
My bro, even Hollywood directors know more about strategy than the N. Army.

The government is clueless about what to do with those guys. Nothing had happened about the information NDA released. Blocking the website is a nice move as it deny NDA much needed publicity

THE AVENGERZ BLOCK THEIR OWN SITE BY THEM SELF

If blocking the website won't stop pipeline vandalism, then it's a wasted effort.

Jamming local biafra radio frequency has not stopped biafra agitations.

#BrainDeadGovernment. #RecieveBrain.
The Web hosting company could have blocked the site themselves. The government does not need to do that.

I don't know about you but, im feeling the effect of these mofos activities on power supply. And for those asking for dialogue, when and how has the group tried to communicate with the government? Do you even know them? Can you identify them?

And my point is, you can't act as an enemy of the state and expect a legitimate and responsible government to seat back and watch you no matter how seemingly "valid" your reasons are.

What's tha business?
I tire o. the govt deploy military to the area and haters keep shouting for dialogue.do they expect the govt watch them until they destroy everything...

Obviously, the world is not sympathetic to NDAs method of destroying the environment just to press home a demand.
It has a global environmental consequence. It might not be immediate but sometime in the future.

you are the brain dead here. Am not an apc supporter. But logically allowing avengers website/biafra radio go on/live, means you open the minds of people to identify with the cause and fuel the agitation i.e cause more unrest. Which the government wants to avoid at all means.

Common sense is not common afterall. If you hate the government, perfectly ok! but dont be stupid in the process.

The website of the niger delta avengers was blocked this morning.
Could this be the work of nigeria government?

404 errors mostly mean any one or more of the following things:
1. The path/URL is incorrect. It happens when you type wrong path inside a website. If the page inside the site you are looking for doesn’t exist then you can get 404 error. If the URL you are requested doesn’t exist, but its host or homepage does, it can show 404 error
2. You don’t have access to it. Some websites are limited within an area or a country. This can give 404 Forbidden error.
3. You are trying to access a file in a site that is forbidden to you. For example trying to access the admin dashboard without being one.
In your case, it seems that the website you are trying to access is down temporarily or permanently. Maybe its down for maintenance.

Meanwhile, their twitter handle is still alive(see second picture)

Abokina your government becomes illegitimate the very day it becomes tyrannical and murderous. NDA is a big ball of in the ass of the tyrant and their supporters and it will not go away soon. You are in for a very long ride in darkness and crude export depletion.

Blame "Crusher Sheriffat" for your woes not NDA. It takes less than 50 dollars to buy and host a website on Godaddy.
Re: Niger Delta Avengers Website Blocked by IVORY2009(m): 2:04pm On Jun 05, 2016
Blocking the web-page would not help matters for Buhari and his group, instead of calling for negotiation with the "Avengers" Buhari rather asked hackers to help shut their website down, the question is will the FG also shut down their twitter handle as well.

What an idiotic expression.a government should allow negative propaganda and news to reach its citizens without hindrance.what nigeria and Nigerians need right now according to you is the news as to when the next pipeline will be attacked.atimes i wonder why it took some of us so long to change our citizenship.i dont even blame u.when mr buhari statments on the kano beheading seems to suggest the moment one's faith is not respected, the next thing is to get beheaded.
