Common sense is not common afterall. If you hate the government, perfectly ok! but dont be stupid in the process.

Blocking the website won't even attempt to solve the problems that led to the insurrection in the first place. Blocking the website is dancing around the problem. Their was no internet in the 60s during the build up to the war. Only radios. Yet the rebel propaganda was bought heavily.

The government is clueless about what to do with those guys. Nothing had happened about the information NDA released. Blocking the website is a nice move as it deny NDA much needed publicity

Wait till they start hijacking government and TV station websites to paste their broadcasts.

If these guys are as smart as they tell us, that should be their next move.

People have right to choices. Agitations are not evil, they are desires of people.

Opening proper channels for communication and dialogue is ideal. Shutting them down is a show of weakness.

The Web hosting company could have blocked the site themselves. The government does not need to do that.

If they have allowed creation of the website, they won't shut it down ordinarily without undue influence

And Forget the "Prof." before "Osinbajo", those guys don't have any clue about how 21st century governance works.

Only if we had smart guys in government. Not even the used-to-be critics like the Omojuwas, and Ogunlesis (the commercializers of privilege) of our time, who are just hustlers like most of us --- trying to put food on the table.

We need help -- a revolution driven by a clearheaded masses. God!

Some folks told me isis have online presence. Some of us who don't like commenting on the NDA threads. When we do it should be taken serious.

Buhari govt and blocking of web sites - as in dictatorial North Korea.

Blocking Buhari govt websites is what any average IT-friendly person can do.

Is Buhari now tired of sending fighter/bomber jets to kill the Niger deltans? That was what Buhari set out to do when he sent those jets and warships.

Perhaps foreigners advised Buhari not to do that.

Nigerians in the south want a thin central govt. But Buhari north doesn't want that. The north wants a strong central govt to collect revenues and share, so that north shall use its 20 states and hundreds of local govt councils unduly proliferated in north by northern soldiers to suck up most of the country's revenues. That's Buhari's dilemma.

website host have the right to shut down a website at any time as long as your activities are not legal ... Web host don't need any influence to do that ...

they got no experience web guys... a simple DDOS will take down the website or maybe it is being hosted by one of this admin whom has being threatened or bought off... simple way to have ur unouchable is get a dedicated server with the Chinese or Russian underground with flux network , get a reverse DNS to your server and go through cloud-flare easy..

their website and twitter has been reported severally by so many people. Just like isis websites and twitter handles.

Their twitter handle would be blocked soon. I just reported them self. eyes are on them, if they open another, they gets reported and blocked again and again and again, just like isis

I hope the Nigerian government is not behind this, because this might trigger a cyber war which am sure the government is not prepared for. Besides NDA from all indication is not about media war except the government wants to hide their activities from the public which to me makes no difference. Believe me those behind NDA has done their home work, the earlier the government stop this cosmetic approach the better for all of us.

I was only talking generally,not even in regards to nda. Its a common principle that you kill information before it spreads more,and it gathers more sympathisers along the line.
