They need this more than all this flashy crap. What's the point of this when it's citizens don't have a maintenance culture? No be bus terminal we wan chop. The roads are bad. He should fix the phucking bad roads. The street lights he made noise about are almost all dead. These are pictures from obalende. The terminals in mile 12 and other places don't have all these serenren.

If they can Behind up and make the transport system reliable, then less people will use cars and more people will use public transport. After all the same people who'd never take bus in Lagos have no problems doing so abroad. Less cars on the road means less traffic.

With the metropolitan nature of Lagos and its population traffic cannot be entirely eradicated; only reduced. Even New York sef dey get traffic.

However, we do need a more effective mass transit system in Lagos to reduce traffic. Trains, buses, ferries that will be available round the clock. Congestion charges can then be introduced to discourage people from using their car and taking public transport.

Well said! Seriously I think you should be the commissioner for transport or better still a special adviser to the Lagos state governor. But greed will nut allow them see those with good ideas but instead they give these positions to brainless faithfuls who gat connections up there and we remain where we are!
