Switlife:well, I really wish I was in this your list. lol, I would have changed my name to prince switlife. As it turns out, I'm still in d dark too. feels great that most of my guys have already been raptured. Sorry this is coming late on here. I have congratulated u all in person except for MrSneh whom I couldn't reach. Congrats guys, you all deserve this and more. For the rest of us, we can only pray for the best. Hopefully, we get called. God knows best. We gave our all at the AC, might have entered Total or Saudi Aramco with our performances but I feel NLNG knows what she wants. |

naastyme: ItsTime4me:Wow...what a heart warming and convincing reasoning bro! You can't imagine how much you've uplifted my spirit this afternoon. Meanwhile PTDF also handed me some branch to hold onto and avoid getting drowned in that highly disastrous sea of anxiety that flooded that Thursday the morning that followed the heart-wrenching day, it was sooooo timely mhennnn!!! So NLNG I'm still hanging on that branch waiting for your life saving chopper to come and carry me to your beautiful island, sweet bonny island! I know you are the company that cares, I know you won't let me down, I know I won't be disappointed. ![]() |

ItsTime4me:On point! I mean, I didn't get any correspondence whatsoever which isn't nearly as conclusively end of the road as getting a regret mail but I couldn't even come up here and say anything rather I was just busy waiting and observing (though up until the close of work on Friday it was partly in hope that mails would still roll in so it wouldn't be that I spoke too soon) Congratulations to all those who received success mails, hard luck to those that received regret mails and for the rest of us, may the odds be ever in our favour. |

Jwhizzy:Thanx for the mention. And finally we now have closure. I therefore gracefully bow out of the thread. But just before I do that, I would like to say a big congratulations to those who made it. And for those that didn't, I would like you all to remember one thing- This is not the end of the world. Bye folks. |

forkadict:Many thanks to you for standing by us in this struggle. However, not all of us got closures as such you might have to stay a little longer. The story of your journey to NLNG is quite similar to our individual stories, your presence might cheer us up even as we await our closures. |

| Re: 2013 Nigeria Liquified Natural Gas (NLNG) Graduate Trainee by Prinzofparis: 11:06pm On Jun 05, 2016 |
forkadict:hmmm forkadict, if I'm interpreting correctly. those that got the medical notification mail are those that made it. those who didn't get that mail didn't make it. pls if you have solid info as regards those who haven't been contacted by your company, we will appreciate if you share bro. thanks. |

From what forkadict has said. It's over, done and dusted. But for my brethren that didn't get the mails, take solace in the fact that God is still on the throne. I strongly believe that after the medicals, there could still be some trickles of positive mails. Even if it is 1 new call, you could be the one to be called. I believe in God's undeserved kindness. We(positive mails) are not here because we were the best. To some, it was the odds(say quota or the like) that turned in their favour while to some others, it was nothing else but miracle. Just imagine, a case where your state had 1 slot and you passed the general cut and was the only one left. Compare that to when 20 candidates passed the AC from your state and there is just just one slot available. Sometimes, being the best in your state is not even a guarantee. Imagine when you are the best in your state but the needed number in your field of study(say Law) has been met from those that performed better from other states. In a case like that, the mace goes to the next in line. When we think of all these, we just have to give kudos to NLNG. Considering the No Quota alternative is truly not sustainable. Remember the first N in NLNG stands for Nigeria. In conclusion, I would say that we were all successful. Those that were not called are the true Heroes of this country - sacrificing their excellence for one Nigeria. #myviews |

sexyjob:Beautifully and truly well said, whether there was that much recourse to Quota system or not, the point remains that it was a huge miracle for anyone being called up. Nay, it was a miracle to even make it to the final AC stage, considering the humongous number that began the race. That said, if it is indeed true that some got a regret mail and some haven't heard a word from NLNG, then it goes without saying that the recruitment exercise isn't done yet. That is only logical. So we remain ever HOPEFUL as ever that God will give EVERYONE of us on here some form of closure... Personally, it's been wonderful having to learn from so many beautiful minds on here for the past 3 years. This I'll carry with me, forever... |

GetPosted: Prinzofparis:Seems all those I knew from 6th July Assessment Day in Eko Hotels have not been contacted ![]() ...including myself. This last part of waiting after the rapture is just gonna be like the period of GREAT TRIBULATION, when those left will have to pay with their blood (this wait is really blood draining) and refuse to take the mark. A period of no DEATH till He returns again... We wait with high HOPES! It's only in decisive games that extra time becomes inevitable. Even if nothing happens, then spot kicks. It's not over until it really is. |

I still DO NOT think it's done and dusted. For some reason I refuse to accept that. For those talking about miracles, I concur. From those sisters that wanted to climb different stairs I'm WAEC to that Data Checking in SHL to the presentation at AC, these are all situations when I said "Mehn, e done be! I sure say I fit pass like this?" I was particularly worried about the presentation in AC as in my personal evaluation I had goofed big time mehn. Misquoted some stats and even alleged that the problematic employee wasn't meeting target even though that was very incorrect. So yes for me it has been a miracle galore this whole process. And I can only expect that it's the same for a whole lot. There's still one gorgeous lady I know without a doubt will get an email. You know who you are! And to the July Z crew (all those of us that wrote on a particular day last July) I know Bonny Girl has gotten an invite. I misplaced my phone and lost all your contacts so it'd be nice if we connect. PM me Lastly, I was born June 6. |

airsaylongcon:Nice one bro. A man once condemned in the Towers of London carved in his prison stone "It's not adversity that kills, but the impatience with which we bear the adversity." For all who got mail (raptured or not ) and those still waiting, hear me once and hear me clearly "God will do a new thing". Lastly Happy birthday airsaylongcon. |

sexyjob:I had to come back from retirement to correct some (mis)representations. First of all I never said the exercise was done and dusted. We need to be clear on that. Second, my official duties have taken me away from the office so I can't really paint a picture of what is happening. However if yall permit me to make a few permutations for those that have not been contacted yet here we go: First option is they all get rejected (God forbid) Second, some may still be called up and others rejected eventually. Third, y'all may be wait listed and have your call ups staggered over a period of 1 year max. Fourth some may be called up, some wait listed and called up later and the rest rejected. You may pick the option that best suits you and pray hard about it. Please note that I am just thinking aloud here. Like I said, I am not in tune with events cos of my current official engagement. |

forkadict:Thanks for clearing out the ambiguity that was blatantly misinterpreted earlier. WE choose (and pray hard about): Option 3 Worst case scenario: Option 4 God lives...Never say never! ![]() |

In @GetPosted style; to obtain some clarity, Head-Count 3: Like this post if you received a “regret mail” from NLNG P.S: Head-count for awaiting verdict is on page 312 & Head-count for success mails is on page 309. |

Happy birthday Airsay! What a sweet year this will be for you. Congrats again all those who have got positive closures! Those who got the reject mail.. it's not failure as pointed earlier... sometimes we win, sometimes we LEARN... For those of us still waiting... let's make it easy on ourselves even as we trust God for our calls, by reinventing ourselves.... to our own benefits Thanks egbon addict for the clarification. Guys have you thanked God today? |

234GG:lol,..July 6th. Did d assessors loss our score cards??...peeps all say theyve not heard from NLNG. it is well. its truly a miracle that we got this far...its even a bigger miracle that some got called and others are blindfolded at night and left roaming in the deep Kalahari. If we try to find trends or justification as to why A got a mail where B didn't, we will just be going in circles. the only single trend I can come up with is: High AC score Quota/federal character Masters Course of study. For the technical peeps, electrical and computer related guys seem to be leading d list of successful. Chemical/Chemistry related persons seem to be at d bottom of the food chain from my observations. Shey Oga babs na chemist, he offend people?..lol |

forkadict:of course I choose and pray option 3 prevails and no longer bother even if it's 2 years max. And, unlike before last thursday, I now pray I don't receive any mail from NLNG very soon cos I believe the longer it takes to get a correspondence from them the more assuring it is that indeed I'm kept for a possible positive plan in the future. |
