Never experienced that as a student,I have numerous siblings,this person will not send u money cus he or she believes. That the other person must hv sent u money,while d person did not actually send u any dime,so I endup not getting anything,I sustain myself with d little online. Hustle I do,I only receive call from them asking. How am managing,I always smile and tell them that God is faithful, so always learn to be independent

i graduated last year. however i was receiving 3k per week from my mother from my first year to third year. then from my fouth year to final year it was 4k per week.

nice.. mine was 2k, 2k 5h every week.. it got to a point where i started feeling bad.. cos my mum is the bread winner.. and i have a sis who was preparing for waec.. i stopped bugging her.. i started selling off my shoes..

In 300l it became 5k per month. As at that time, I began to despise the idea of asking my parents for 5k allowance. So I won't ask until they send. And if they don't, I would suffer it. No wahala.

After my IT, (currently in 500l), I have been living like a graduate, I don't call my parents for anything, I paid my rents, and footing the bill for my final year project. I must say that it feels really good to have this sense of independence. I haven't been home since I left in February, and my parents would often call to ask why I am not asking for money...

During those conversation, I would be tempted to say "Mummy, I currently earn more than you on monthly basis" (she works in Osun and when they're lucky, they get paid half of their salary, which is about 75k or there about)... Moral: Develop a sense of independence as soon as you can, and stop asking your parents for allowance. They can only do so much in this bad economy.

it has not been long ( one year ago).

Hmmmmm, It was not easy then o, #500 per week, and highest was 2k per month frm my Parent.
Some frnds will pay for my handout,my frnds will cook for me and so on.


But at the end, I'm glad that I made it to the top despite all challenges.

My dad was giving me 50k per month until last year a week before the election, he credited my account with 460 million to keep and manage without waste. as an obedient child, I have been living below my means: at least 40 million goes away into drinking, womanizing and doing charities. i remember vividly.i recieved like chemical occurance on d periodic table,..the most dangerous element on d table(i.e after many many disturb) like school fees attracts much..while small well known element (li2 disturbance) attracted 2k periodically..frm time to time..but just like uranium.der was never a stable figure..only a steady reduction in value....
