@ ginababy, use the breathing techniques to conserve your strength..
I ddnt see my mucus plug nd my water was broken when the head was crowning..
Go for light walks..you can do it in ur compound..it will make the head decend less painfully
Above all, don't shout..and pray
May God make it easy

The truth is words are not enuf right now to console u, but I want you to know that u will surely rise above dis.Someday by God's grace u wee help someone dat will be going thru same,but then u will be rejoicing in God's glory and goodness. NB: pls just somehow don't loose ur trust in Him,just trust Him anyhow at this time.pls I beg u,struggle to maintain your trust in God.

my heart goes out to @rockmania...God Be with you always and console u. I want to also ask us all to please contribute your little experiences with different hospitals during pregnancies...a lot of Us like me dont know what to expect from our doctors & Nurses during our visits to the hospitals during pregnancy and deliveries. In my search for a good Hospital to have my baby at..i realised that theres so little information about where to go...what to do...and what to expect when u visit the hospital...i created a topic for sharing experiences with Different Hospitals..just to see if we can educate and inform each other on what to expect and What NOT..and possibly places to avoid....I BELEIVE WE CAN HELP EACH OTHER BY SHARING...as for me..my search is still on...visited some suggestions from moms on this thread already...visting another today....

PLS...THIS IS NOT TO TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM THIS THREAD....its just stricty for hospital experiences. Pls contribute if you wish....

@ sheyee You can take a malaria drug that is safe to use during pregnancy, consult with your doctor and verify with your pharmacist befor you take any medication taht it is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

@mjconcept pprom happens when the water (sac) the baby is inside breaks prematurely befor full term has been acheived in the pregnancy. This is very dangerous, because the mom runs the risk of infection, and delivering the baby early which also has complications associated with it.

@oknee congrats on your pregnancy and wishing you a very safe delivery, once you are 37 weeks its classified as full term

@rockmania my heart goes out to you as i read your post i was in tears, remembering when i lost my 5 month pregnancy, the feeling is so raw still and its been almost 3 years. To an extent if i was examined properly they would have seen that i was in preterm labour even though my water did not break, this happened in Canada, so i cant even blame anybody in Nigeria for it. One year later i conceived again and that pregnancy was incredibly scary omg, but to g-d be the glory, my son is turing 2 in July. I started this thread because all the symptoms i noted in my first post are the complications that landed me in the  high risk pregnancy unit for a few months i stayed in the hospital on bedrest. Hoping and praying me and my son will make it out alive, G-d is faithful and he will see you and your wife through, your home will be filled with little feet running everywhere. What i want to suggest is that you find out where the pediatric hospitals in your area are and if they have incubators, also with your wife's PPROM, she may need to take progesterone or p-17 shots next pregnancy so he waters dont break prematurely again, please especially if you are in Nigeria where doctors are "not int eh know how" educate yourself and speak to your doctors with your recommendations for your healthcare.

@ IB welcome and congrats on your pregnancy, wishing you a wonderful third trimester and a safe delivery, make sure you come back and tell us about the labor experience

At all lets continue to share we are only moving forward and not looking back

Iyabetajos, your story brought me to this thread to comment for the first time cos my wish was to comment to announce bfp when God remembers me. I have been a silent follower of ttc & this thread before I registerd 2 weeks ago and I followed ur story and was so elated about Andre's birth.
I cried and prayed to God concerning you last night, andre's demise touched me so deeply like he was my little nephew. But there's an assurance that when we pass through tribulations God's grace is always sufficient to carry us through.
All I can say is that God almighty, the all knowing God knows best and I TRUST He will do exceeding abundantly above you can think and imagine. I am yet to get my miracle bfp but I TRUST God so much that He will do the best at His time, and he will do same for us all. Be consoled and remember lioha's story as well; she's a mother of a beautiful son now.
Be consoled also that you have proved the fact that you are fruitful and can carry to term regardless of the many miscarriages you have endured.
May God comfort you, bless you, keep you.
I await your next bfp and when your great Samuel or John will be born.

This might seem like a rant but then it might not.
And so it happened that I had not been able to go to church for some time now. Yesterday, I made up my mind that I was gonna go no matter what which I did. Only for me to sit next to a lady who apparently bathed with her perfume. We came in about the same time so the scent was still quite strong. I didn't get myself from the moment I sat down in church. Initially I wanted to swap places with hubby but I didn't want him sitting next to her(lol).

All of a sudden I started feeling dizzy, breathless, feeling like I was choking at the same time. Had to leave the church auditorium to sit in the car. That was the end of church for me today because I didn't get relief till service ended.

I was so annoyed! See me wanting to go to church today and this woman from God know where had to go spoil it all for me.

Any mamas with such experience?

yes I do. All my pregnancies and this current one. You're irritable to strong odours. I hide all of my dh perfumes and at times I throw away the offensive ones. I speak up also when I percive a strong odour from a colleague after all I spend over 16thours of my day with them so I have to be comfortable

Am a regular peeper here from the ttc thread,I can't just help it but to come and comment here now because of iyabetajos..Mama may the Lord console you,words is not just enough but we cannot question him,he will give you double for your trouble by this time next year the Lord will give you the ones that will stay with you and take care of you when you are old..Accept my condolence

I remember buying this bed for N900 5 years ago. N2500 is on the high side.
