holiday in their states.
Today, their party is in Power at the center and that is no longer the case.

I believe you have a good point. We are agitating for a decentralization of authority and autonomy back to the regions but we keep going to the center to ask permission for simple things Federal Government should not be troubled about, like making June 12 a national day. Is it already a commemorative day in the West? Who stops Yorubas from declaring it if they view it important to their political history?
