I still used my naira mastercard issued by GT bank today. 336 naira rate.

Many banks already charge at BDC rate, the last thing a bank will do is
stop a practice because customers "insult" them.
Banks exist to make money not ego and the only reason they stopped this is
because it is no longer profitable.

My Stanbic debit card still works, used it a few minutes ago. Currently in the UK. Rate is 467 against 505 bdc

Please will this also affect Facebook paid ads? since I am paying with naira not dollar on my Facebook boosted page.

I used my FirststBank card this evening to make payment and also for cash withdrawal. They charged me 392 naira to 1€uro.

In theory firstbank naira cards are still active but who knows what's going to happen in the next hour.

I experienced this nightmare on PayPal yesterday. My First bank card was linked to it.

It was only after I added a GTB card that the problem was rectified
