Not interested... We need this government out.. They shouldn't bullshit us with stolen money stories. On that last line, sorry but the fact is, Islam is not a religion of peace. |

[....In his remarks, the National President of MULAN, Dr Kamal Dawud maintained that to ensure peaceful coexistence in the country, non-Muslim brothers and sisters must understand that Islam is a peaceful religion with some sensitive issues. According to him, “Let our non-Muslim brothers and sisters avoid these sensitive issues and make them no go areas, to allow peace reign in Nigeria”.] Dr. Kamal Dawud is merely telling Nigerians that issues about Islamic like sharia criminal codes are sensitive in Islam, and non-Muslims must respect the use of Sharia criminal codes in Nigeria. But Nigeria's constitution does not allow any part of Nigeria to use sharia criminal codes. Any part of Nigeria which adopts and uses sharia criminal codes can as well count itself off as no more belonging to Nigeria. Gideon Okar was wiser when he removed the present sharia north of Nigeria from Nigeria. |

Even lawyers who suppose to defend the defenceless are busy forming association based on religion. So doctors, engineers, accountants, pharmacists, drivers, shoeshiners, carpenters, mechanics, tailors etc will form association base on their religious beliefs. Tell me fellow nls how will this country move forward. Rather than approach issues putting the nation at front banners, no religion will rather take that role. The collective resolve will just not be there because my religion not my country abhors it. |

truthbastille:And what are you doing about it? Do you switch off your lights when not in use, do you buy Nigerian? Are you plugging wastage in your own expenses, printing double sided? Are you helping others stay positive or setting up informal skill bartering structures? There is a spirit in every nation that has overcome difficulty. It always starts by first personalizing, then owning and finally dominating the problem. Germany and Japan at the end of the world War? Ethiopia after its long war and even Rwanda after its civil war. No one has a right to a good life. It has to be made. If the generation before you messed things up, fix it within your domain. Problems don't listen to complaints, they only respond to positive action. Take control and stop being a victim. |

Lol. Wait till inflation induced by the new fx policy hits. Then the real hard knock life will set in. This is what happens when folks contest elections without having a master-plan of what they plan to do. They stay chasing corruption around with corruption in their back pockets, rather than make the economy, security, and infrastructure as priorities. |
