Good morning sir, we spent like 450k on the roofing sheet alone, sometimes last year b4 I went for service, its aluminium longspan, the guy came and measured after the woodwork has been done, he gave a quotation, we reached an agreement and he went to bring it and fixed everything.
They are of different lengths according to his measurement I'll search my archive and post a picture.
The roof looks beautiful and people admire it a lot around this place.

I studied architecture in OAU, I designed it for my mom, she dropped the money, I still asked her yesterday and she's very good at keeping records, she said its not close to 5milla at all, we live together, I supervised the construction from the clearing of land to laying the first block till where it is now, God has just been faithful....so many people will tell you, they have built something like this and spent up to 8milla, 10 milla, I don't have to lie about this, the bricklayer is a family friend...

Congratulation! Just to save little cost, you can use 9inches blocks for surrounding (outer) and demarcate internal with 6inches blocks. Well done!!!

with the level and how big the house is I doubt that figure too , that house will consume nothing less than 5.5 ....

The floor tiling hasn't been done yet, the POP ceiling for the 4 rooms ensuite and the kitchen hasn't been done too, once we take care of these Plus the soak away, these 3 will take like a million, thats when the total money spent will be around 5 million.


Maybe its cheap cos im the architect and supervisor, I couldn't have charged my mom for the plan and supervision after she sponsored my education, and we monitored every progress from scratch up to this stage.

He charged 300 per sqm, we didnt plan on tiling the whole house at once, but now, weve decided to tile everything and suspend the POP ceiling for other rooms till further notice, here's the quotation he gave.
I think it excludes his charges, cement and sand cost.

Attached is a picture of some tiles samples I took at the biggest materials store in Ife, there was just sight difference in prices with the quotation he gave.

The big 60 X 60 floor tiles will be used for the living room and dining.

All I can say is that, the wood are very durable and the best according to the carpenter's specification and quotation.

When did you roof it? Because that is stage am about doing now but prices are sky rocketing.
It is the aluminium company that nailed the roofing sheets or the carpenter that did the roofing wood work/formation?

This is as a result of the sloppiness of the land.

Besides, you could have been cheaper. Your building is in Osogbo. Labour, materials are much more cheaper than in any part of the Southwest.
