OP, go to where they sell cement and you will see half bags ready for sale. My point is cutting those cement does not forclose resale. Nigerian builders are very dishonest and that is why they don't like close monitoring.

I am a civil engineer and I quiet agree with this person, you should seek professional advice or supervision when building your home, you should have also increased your foundation depth due to the slope, this is because when settlement fully occurs the house may seem too low when looking at it from the front. Introducing stanchions at the four edges would have made more sense too. Anyhow I wish you good luck.

I completed my 3bedroom 6 years ago. Yes some of this builders can be funny. Whenever they demand for cement ensure u visit the site and use knife to cut all the cement required so that they won't be able to sell any of them. I did it and it worked for me. If they cannot benefit frm their fraud, then they will not attempt it

In 2016 the urban planning is still done as though it was 1716 when mud houses were built all over without sufficient roads that led to those houses. Everyone is celebrating this nonsense as progress. And now you can see why Nigeria's problem are her people. The building is an absolute disgrace because it is an area that has no roads, no driveways, no pedestrian walkways, no trees, and no neighborhood feel. Absolute nonsense.
