Anyway, there is no secret. The process is straightforward but not cheap.

The three genuine pathways are:
European Scholarship
Sponsorship letter
Blocked account...it could be your money, your friends, neighbors, your grany's, etc but it must be blocked.

See, no secret.
hail you ! please does it really worth it for me sell my house and deposit part of the money to my block account.
the work I do is a technical work and not for engineer though that is where I got the money from to build my house and apart from the house, I no get better cash savings. Please bro. I want to step up my career which Msc will not be a bad idea.
Please and please does it really worth it ?
Re: General German Visa Enquiries Part 3 by chinok97: 9:03pm On Jun 18, 2016
hmm, desperate times call for desperate measures they say,.. well i dont think anyone is in the right seat to give you such hardened advise, but before taking d step of selling, pls make sure you have backup plans sha, it's not only about blocked account also, you still need a great deal of Goodluck, mind you, you don't know what to expect over there, it could go really good for you or the other.. put on your gambling cap, and choose.. the Lord be with you, wait for next week sha before you put the house on sale, so u'ld know the price tag to start with.

my seven blessings

Haba! shocked Did someone tell you that as a student in Germany you will make mega money? You a house owner with something tangible to do want to sell your home to chase German dream? You want to do menial jobs as most, if not almost all of us students do to survive this place? Menial jobs that will mostly go to paying rent, insurance, semester fees, TV licence fees and all the other bills that get in constantly into our letter boxes. If not for the mixtures of cold and warmth we get this days most of the time this country is really cold. Can you go out at -10°c in the night for a night shift job while waiting in the freezing cold for connecting bus or train to take you home? Think very well and remember your visa restricts you from working all the time.
The other day I was just gisting with my friend that in Nigeria if you have your own home the only thing you need to think about is to feed. Here its a totally different story.
I am against anyone borrowing to come here but in your case I would say its safer for you to borrow and put down your house as collateral than sell it outright. How you will pay back when you get here that I cannot guarantee.

Collateral is even worse cos definitely, he won't be able to pay back and he will end up loosing it. Do not Sell Your House...If you do, u will so regret it and perhaps you will get so frustrated and jump on a fast train. Do you think money grow on trees here? here is all about reality and not faith. People working full time can not afford a house in Nigeria not to talk of mini job. Landlord wanna sell his house to pursue German dream, don't dare it.

From what I read today, dollar will increase to 250. That will make Euro to be approximately 280. Therefore, we will be budgeting like 2,268,000 for our form A. Thanks

Brother please don't sell your house o. God has given you a reason to smile, if u r to leave Nigeria for studies then u should face that studies with all your effort. selling your house puts pressure on you when u get there, u might eventually go against the law while trying to recover what you sold in Nigeria, you might as well as a result finish your studies with a bad result which would take you nowhere. The reality is money does not grow on trees anywhere in the world, you work for what you earn but your student visa restricts you to certain working hours, therefore whatever money you make would outrightly go for your upkeep and some savings if u could afford it. You just wouldn't have any reason to call anyone at home for money but being in Germany does not make you a money bag. It just gives you a better life. But always remember, live by the laws of the land to avoid trouble. my candid advise....... don't sell your house, look for other means of getting money. gut tag brother.

Person wey get house wan sell house to come this germo Wia we dey so? Chai, if I av a house in Nigeria , I won't think of coming to Germany in d ist place. For u now thinking of selling it to come Germany is the most ridiculous desperate measure I av heard in a long time.

People in Nigeria have different perspective of wat really happens in Europe thinking life is all rosy and juicy. Even taking the risk to pass thru Libya. Na until dem reach here them dey know what's up.

Bros landlord, I use everything dear to u to beg u biko no even think of using d house as collateral not to talk of selling it to come to Germany as a student OK biko. We no wan read news say one Nigerian student jump in front of moving ice train ooo. If u av done sumtin that built u a house in Nigeria, walahi u do not need to travel out to anywhere again. What u need right now is sustanance and contentment. My 50 kobo advice

I dont think it is compulsory. I have seen a few posts here where ppl said they told the white lady that they would fund immediately after the interview.

I am currently faced with a similar challenge. I recently got a job and my monthly salary is roughly 90k, I also have a commercial bus 'danfo' in Nigerian local parlance, which also is another source of income for me. I got admitted for a Master program in Germany and I am considering resigning my job, using all my savings, getting small loan(500k) and selling the bus to make up funds for the blocked account. I just hope and pray it would be a wise decision on the long run. Things are not easy here in Nigeria, but somehow, guys still dey rough am. Make our case no go be from frying pan to fire o...veterans in the house, na God I take beg una, kindly help throw more light on this matter...vielen dank!
