Your comment makes your God look more malevolent than benevolent since he chose to save only one child out of the countless babies abandoned to die.

Nobody feels the true love of God till they realise how wicked they are and amend their ways. You can't teach people this though - they have to learn from experience.

I was lucky enough to be by my mum's side before she passed away. She was a good mother, but still felt she didn't do enough. May her soul continue to rest in peace.

Yet, a lady/woman is bold enough to have thrown what could possibly be the light of her entirely family into a latrine. What a wicked soul!

Watch this child grow into a magnificent being. This wicked lady/woman will come back to say 'its the work of the devil'. Its what they always say anyways!

I pray and hope that the innocent child survive this hard times.

I also pray that the woman live long to regret her evil deeds.

Being born into certain countries and situations, some people would really need much luck.

It is good to be religious but we over-spiritualise things sometimes.

Europeans did centuries ago. Now they don't really. But still, they are not unluckier or worse off than those who do now.
No need to force-feed others one's religious position.

That is what Boko Haram are doing...just with violence.

It is this attributing everything to God, both good and evil (giving & taking as he chooses) that make some people feel forsaken by God when things go wrong.

How about the possibility that God is not out directing evil to happen to people, that these things can just happen??

That baby should be in the hospital and all kind of test conducted on him.... Hope he is certified okay and healthy cos he may have swallowed enough nonsense and considering how sensitive a newborn baby is to bacterias and germs, I hope he survives in the long term. *feeling sad*

Miracles are unusual, they are divine intervention. God has normally left us at a leash to run things on our own. He'd usually not step in except we ask Him to, or sometimes using prerogative. Full active mode will be judgement day.

Some of the ladies who commit this act may not even have an idea of who the father may be, some other cases may be as a result of traumatic experiences (i.e rape), some just out of sheer wickedness but whatever be the case this is heartless
Thankful to God for the life of the baby. And may God have mercy on the woman that committed this act.
