Workers at the Federal Ministry of Finance today called for the sack of Minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun, as they staged a protest at the federal secretariat Abuja, over the non payment of their allowances and entitlements. The workers shut down their secretariat in protest.

They complained they have not been paid their overtime and training allowances since Adeosun assumed office in November last year. They prevented cars from coming in and going out of the secretariat. They say they will not end their protest until their demands are met.

You are just a pained and bitter election loser who is angry that the beautiful brain of a woman is occupying the post formerly occupied by the CORRUPT ngozi okonjo iweala who allowed reckless looting of our national wealth.

Since Kemi Adeosun assumed office as finance minister, below are just a few of the things she has corrected which the the Harvard looter allowed to go unchecked.

Kemi adeosun

1. Gave 23 conditions to state to meet before getting bail out funds, conditions only corrupt free states can meet.

2. Stop the inflated salary of some military individuals.

3. Barred state governments from collecting loans from banks.

4. Weeded out thousands of ghost workers.

5. Implemented the TSA.

6. Rejected IMF loans.

7. Opened account for recovered loot.

Yet, a freak like you still call her clueless cos she stopped the unnecessary allowances these lazy workers enjoyed for years with no progress to our economy. As for the claim that she still gets her own allowances- well, that one is covered by the budget just as other ministers have it too.

What those lazy bums are requesting for is illegal cos the budget doesn't cover it.

NOI is a looter.

You people should keep quiet if you don't understand what the issues are. How can the workers be demanding for a blanket payment of overtime and training allowance? Training allowance is always paid to officers before the training and overtime allowance is to be paid to only workers who work extra hours outside the official working hours and we all know that most civil servants close by 4. So, why should all the staff of the ministry be protesting over this? Did all of them do overtime or what?

It was never this bad in Nigeria's history, then again we've never had a finance minister so naive and ill equipped with managing meagre resources.

are you kidding me? Those are what she achieved under 8months while your Harvard looter allowed such all through her time.

NOI that supervised the wanton looting of our national wealth.
She couldn't secure the ECA but looted it with her cronies.
She had ensured the nation's had no development to show for selling crude oil at over a $100 per barrel.
She borrowed to pay salaries even while selling at that rate.
She granted waivers to looters and shady people.

etc

Is that the kind of person you want the Yorubas to measure up to?

Majority of staff at the Ministry of Finnance are northerners

The trade unions of the Ministry are headed by Northerners.

For the staff to embark on a brazen protest is just the begining.

Buhari will replace all yorubas soon with his northern brothers and this is just the begining.

If you complain then we will remind you of the Igbos who were ignored by this administration.

When you support evil, it will take root under you and engulf you.

What economy did she bring to its knees?

Where were you when ngozi okonjo mentioned around March last year that Nigeria should brace up for though economic times? She knew such would happened going bybtheblevel of looting that took place under her watch. We all get greeted by the level of cases undergoing investigations with EFCC where we hear huge amounts that were stolen under her okonjo and the past administration. You haters first said they were propaganda till the likes of olisa metuh agreed to refund stolen money. How do you expect the economy not to suffer when some few individuals stashed our national wealth?

Now that she's blocking the loopholes, wailers like you are complaining.

Now they are willing to support the Hausa's they haven't much just to spite the Yorubas who don't even recognise them politically.

Fair is fair, I do not see anything wrong in paying allowances to public workers. That is what is obtainable internationally. If the Minister can collect his/her allowance why shouldn't the other cadres in the ministry collect? That is double standard and means to instigate chaos in the ministry. If the ministry feels that allowances are too much, they can review them or if they mean to stop paying allowances it should be general. Not that Oga will collect and the people Working with him will be left empty handed.
Again, I do not see the reason why people call it illegal as it was paid by the last administration. The post says it was not included in the budget that is why it is illegal, yet it is the minister who receives hers that removed that of the workers. Is that not injustice?

You reason like an illiterate. In a post of yours, you say you respect NOI for her brilliance, same brilliance that couldn't make use of the gains from selling crude oil at an all time high of $100 but looted the money with her cronies. She had plenty but ended up with nothing to show for it. SHAME.

I can't believe that Your lack of reasoning could still go ahead to blame Kemi Adeosun who is trying hard to breeze through the challenges of managing an economy with meagre resources.

whats the difference between tougher times and free fall? The free fall is what NOI predicted cos of the level of looting that took place under her watch, where 2.1billion dollars disappeared into private purses. Remember we were already experiencing the hard times before Kemi came around in November last year.

they took her to court cos they saw that the money was already getting looted.

A wise finance minister would have placed checks on those governors before giving them some of the money, but her incompetence didn't see it fit.
.Kemi Adeosun has placed strict proceedings on state governors who might want the 90billion bail out, which is a smart idea.

Kemi Adeosun that is wickedness, pay them there money, I learn is in the CONDITION OF SERVICE.
How come your N30Million housing allowance is in the budget but you did not include their training allowance.
Please these guys are the one that buy laptops. TV, mobile phone from us and keep the economy running. You and other ministers are going to London with your allowances. Please and please pay these few average class we have now and try and create more average Nigerians, this should be your priority. Many of the average class in the banks has been sacked and you want to destroy the few that keeps the economy running. These people are the one that are supporting the masses, they support thousands friends and family through these small small allowances, many help to pay for friends and family children school fees and health bills. People like you only support your London friends and is difficult to even see any minister or per sec when masses needs help. Please make it legal and pay them. Thanks
