A couple, "Tito and Amanda Mbokane" were arrested over the weekend for selling “golden heavenly tickets ” to hundreds of people in Marabastad,
Pretoria.

The couple, who sold the tickets on the streets in Marabastad for R1000 each, told buyers the [VIP] tickets were made from solid gold and each ticket reserved the buyer a front seat spot in heaven , saying all you needed to do was simply present the ticket at the pearly gates of "Heaven" and you’re in.

According to a Pretoria Policewoman who nabbed the couple after being tipped off by an anonymous caller, she had this to say about the incident;
“People can sell tickets to heaven,” , “But the Mbokanes misrepresented their product. The tickets were just ordinary wood spray painted with gold with the caption ‘Ticket To Heaven’. boldly written on it. You can’t sell something as gold when it’s not. That’s where this couple crossed the line into doing something illegal.”

However, Tito told the police that he got the idea of the VIP tickets through a vision of the night he had early this month.
“Actually , I thought I was having an open vision, An angel appeared to me while I was sleeping and told me about the idea. These tickets are not made from wood, angels came down and helped me to make them using real gold. Try to send an innocent man to jail and see what happens. You should arrest the angel that gave me the golden tickets and said to sell them.” Said Tito.

Further investigation by the Police revealed more suspicious findings about the couple as said they went to Tito and Amanda’s house and confiscated over R120,000 in cash, five crack pipes and a baby alligator.
