just to proof a negative point the federal govt of Nigeria refuse to drill oil in the igbo region just to make them believe their oil is not in abundance just to crush the quest for a sovereign nation of biafra. But biafrans are not bothered cos the know they have the highest crude oil deposits onshore in the whole of Africa. oguta lake oil reserve has not been tapped to reveal but a few.

please tell him the guy thinks drilling oil is that simple even drilling of water borehole requires a lot of procedures,that tells you the level he operates

SE has as much oil as SS...the government is hiding this from Nigerians.

Akwa ibom that is the largest producer on Nigeria has just two or three onshore oil fields. You think exploration activities have not been carried out in the SE? Oil blocks are awarded and exploration carried out. Google for a map of OML to see the oil blocks in nigeria.

Even if there are reserves in the SE that are untapped, you should be happier. They are assets for the future.

Yes, somewhere in owerri west or so, as of when i was there, there is a large deposit of crude there, but had not been tapped, in the night if u look furthest in the sky far away, u will see some fire in the sky, the fire is from gas flarring somewhere in river state nearby
