Collecting what belongs to you is now a corruption fight abi? Continue. Every rich business man in this country supports their businesses with loan. And that's not a bad thing. But it becomes bad when you refuse to service the loan. If AMCON didn't step in, do you know union bank might be in serious financial trouble by now?

Service your loans and their won't be any problem. Do you know they have been on this case since 2011? Was Buhari in power by then? Get your facts right before you make your points please. It'll save your brain from a whole lot of trouble.

There is a difference between a loan being serviced and a bad debt. Amcon goes after the bad debts.

I find it hard to believe he that collected loan and defaulted in the payment. I know he had the money stashed somewhere. Its just common sense.

Oga, please understand, AMCON did not take over Union Bank. AMCON only bought the loans from the several banks that had bad loans at a discount and paid those the banks. The Loans now belong to AMCON that is why they are out to recover their money.

1. Mr Ben Murray Bruce borrow money for bank. He use his companies as collateral. The loan is up to 10 Billion naira.
2. Mr common sense defaulted (i. e he did not pay back)
3. Government is taking over the collateral.
Nothing about military era. The people who will suffer the bad loan are the masses. Mr Bruce will not feel the pain one bit. Imagine UBA or Union bank closes because they cannot operate anymore. Imagine the number of poor Nigerians whose money will be gone. Will you prefer this happens or Mr Bruce pays his debt?
The government has done nothing wrong. If Mr. Bruce repays the loan tomorrow, it will be illegal for AMCON to still hold the building.

It's not by force to be FTC. It's appropriate to make it require the co-operation of hand and brain simultaneously. His case dates back to a period before the advent of Buhari to the power centre.
