He just regulates policies? Why is this administration fond of blaming and comparing their performance with the previous administration
Re: Power Supply: Don’t Shut Down, Don’t Downsize, Fashola Tells Industrialists by JaaizTech: 8:57am On Jun 25, 2016
Perhaps Nigeria should just start considering the possibility of importing POWER, we are not yet an advanced people. We still lack the capacity to manage our affairs. We may even consider hiring expatriate to head some of this key parastatals. Honestly, the fact that we can't manage power generation, portable water supply, Petroleum refinery, Ajaokuta steel production, mechanized agriculture and even a sports stadium is an indication that our capacity and capabilities are probably inadequate. Govt. In Govt. Out have failed to solve these problems.

The way this country is going I'm afraid Nigeria would never have steady power supply in the next 20 years

Well, BRF just told you that FG is no longer responsible for generation and distribution, we need to be putting more pressure on the companies responsible for these services. They are simply making very little or no investment.

To achieve steady power supply is no rocket science, but here in Nigeria is a mysterious and spiritual science that our caretakers have failed generation upon generation to decipher. My light now comes for 1hr every 3days.

please tell us where you are getting the one hour every 3days so I can carry my house there abeg. In my area in Badagry, no light since last year.

"We have darkness because our Economy is
managed by incompetent and amateur people” .... BRF @ 7th Bola Tinubu colloquium

I think that statement still stands.

Buhari and his supporters made big mistakes when they referred to the Niger delta as 5%. Now it's clear that they are important. It is also clear that Buhari never had any plant as at may 29, 2015. Look at Abuja and look at Niger Delta. See the difference. Buhari has a bad heart and that's his problem. Instead of dialogue, he threatens to "crush" them. Now he knows better. Lesson: treat the goose that lays the golden egg very well and there will be peace.

Oga Fashola... Stop talking and start working. You once said fixing power is not rocket science but you are now making it looks like spiritual science.

Put the blame on Buhari for his lack of diplomacy. You want to fight the people you called 5% when they are the sources of economic growth and power. You better make peace for a better Nation.

Politics at the federal level is totally different from state. There are so many issues with power, but one question... Shouldn't we invest more in coal generated power? India boasts of over 300,000 mv of power from that. This will give us options in the light of politics in the gas industry.
can't the government help in getting solar power available and cheaper for the masses...it has less maintenance, is virtually pollution free..most European countries have keyed into it for decades...it will reduce the load on the nation's power grid when homes and communities consume less from it..but this is Nigeria.

Its time we tell ourselves the truth cos things will not get better if we maintain this clueless orientation. These 5% will finish this country if we don't put them where they belong which is dustbin. Ur brothers are blowing gas installation, u are praising them to ground everything and u are still lamenting that u are in total darkness. You be real yeye people
Really crazy country. It's just so sad to see that the same fools who celebrate whenever their associates blow up gas installations responsible for power supply are the ones expecting the miracle of constant power supply and mocking the current administration ..Just how did we find ourselves together in the same country with these animals?
