Most Roads in Owerri today were constructed or reconstructed by Okorocha. Don't bring your lies here please. This includes Orlu Road, Wetheral Road and Control or Bank Roads. I can give pictures of Roads started and completed by Mr Okorocha. Eg Dee Sam Road and JCNF road as shown here.

Owerri is one of the most beautiful cities in Nigeria and can never be argued by anyone unless in mischief. Enugu has enjoyed federal and regional infrastructure like Kaduna and Ibadan but Owerri was built by Imo State alone. This includes Airport, flyovers and Stadia. The Enugu Airport and Stadium were built by FG as well as all the flyovers used in entering Enugu from the expressway. So while making any comparisons one has to put that into consideration. Enugu enjoyed 8 years of good attention under Sullivan Chime and what he mostly did was remodel or repave already existing roads built several decades ago.


As for Owerri this 2nd tenure of Okorocha seems a time to really upgrade the beautiful city and with what I've seen since two days of my stay here if Okorocha succeeds in completing his numerous constructions 2019 Owerri will be too good to be in Nigeria.

The site is at Orlu road dumpsite. I guess the community is Ohi or Ubomiri.

But one thing we must tell the truth about is that Ohakim did a better job of keeping Douglas road clean amongst other places, despite the difficulties. The best way to judge is at the end of the journey. Those trying to downgrade our beautiful State know not what they do and should be forgiven. There job is looking for anything negative while ignoring the positives starring them right before their very eyes. I am in Owerri now and I must say that the only thing annoying about Rochas Okorocha is that he is constructing roads which future Governors will waste money reconstructing. Apart from Short part of Dee Sam, Wetheral Road and Orlu road the rest of the roads are with open drainage and have no space for pedestrian pavement. or walkways. That is the type of criticism I want those who love our dear State to engage in. We should not lie that nothing has been done because Okorocha has outclassed all our past leaders combined in almost every aspect of development but what we should ask is how well.

What then is development Amakenny? Roads, hospitals, schools, free education are all development and basically what we expect from government. Private sector comes in to compliment. Accusing Okorocha of building only Owerri is wicked lie from pit of hell. No Government in history of Imo has gone deep into rural areas like the present one. It's unarguable. For example look at this road and market in your LGA or will you deny it?

In truth there is no LGA that has no gotten school, hospital, road or market. Almost the entire communities have at least one of these.
