The Movement for the Actualisation of the Sovereign State of Biafra (MASSOB), has lambasted the British High Commissioner to Nige­ria, Paul Arkwright over his recent comments that Britain would not support the secession in the South East and the struggles in the Niger Delta.
MASSOB National Di­rector of Information, Sunny Okereafor told The AUTHORITY on Sunday that the comment credited to the British envoy dur­ing a recent visit to Rivers State amounted to hypoc­risy and double standards as “Britain itself has just separated from the Euro­pean Union”.
He wondered why a diplomat of Arkwright’s standing would pub­licly voice opposition to “a non-violent secession movement “while Brit­ain has just liberated it­self from an unfavourable union”.

arindin ni eleyi sha. Ehn. Must you be taught every thing Great Britain or United Kingdom is a congregation of Nations. Individual nations have it's own laws and national flags which have been recognised international long before many Nations were formed. Each country existed INDIVIDUALLY before eventually being conquered or joining England to form the UK. They also have defined borders and capitals. These are some of the reasons why they can legitimately call for secession, or more accurately pull out of the UK. Also note that the constitution allows for them to conduct a referendum. Now, before you ask why can't Nigeria do the same or why is it not in our constitution I will advise you to go to Azikiwe's grave and ask him because he and his gang fought against the inclusion of a 'secession clausea' threatening the west who supported it. Like they say KARMA
