For Domiciliary account, minimum deposit is $100. For Naira acct, minimum I think I 5000 naira. And you can apply for card once you hav above this minimum

Sorry to hear that, I don't think they'll allow u use your elder bro ID card, bcoz d name using for d account must tally with d one in d ID card. U can use your student ID card, if u got any.

5 years ago I wouldn't have given you the answer I'm about to give you now but go for Union Bank.

Their online banking services are about the best you can get in the country presently. Don't argue, just try and see for yourself.

In addition to that, they have probably the best looking branches across the country, one of the best customer service I've seen and their new Elite Banking package is revolutionary.

All this is a rather long way of telling you Union Bank might be the solution to your problems but of course there are other good banks in Nigeria.

I usually buy dollar and deposit or withdraw dollar from my Payza account to it and then transfer to a USA bank, the exchange rate is competitive,I found it better than SKye bank,the other bank I use...The Token is a security feature that gives out random numbers without which you can't make a transfer,it a small device tied to your account which you keep safely,so even if someone gets access to your account, they can't withdraw or transfer without the random changing code numbers from the Token(Even now you can still get your token security numbers via your phone but I never use this feature because of the rate of stealing of GSM's in Naija!)
