Thanks... I told my mummy and she said she may reconsider reconsidering reconsideration if I should school outside. Iam happy! I wouldn't school in Nigeria again!

A 100 level student of Federal university of Technology Minna, Niger state was attacked by thieves yesterday who tried to rob him by using cutlass on him. .. almost the same thing happened when two 100level students were coming back from school yesterday night around 11pm when one of them almost got stabbed but luckily for the student the operation wasn't successful.

These thieves have been robbing students of Futminna right from time especially those in Bosso campus living off campus but it's getting worse now.. these guys ain't joking anymore... is either they come inside the lodge when everyone is asleep or they stop you on the road and they'll make sure you drop whatever gadgets you have with you or else you'll be injured seriously.

I hope the management of Federal university of Technology Minna, Niger State and the Niger state government takes necessary action. This is unbearable .

my alma mata, dats rite, thieves also burgled my room during one of the holiday period, but its on d increase now, can rememba a friend of mine serving now, he slept in his friend's room 4 a nite and unfortunately 4 him, he and his friends were robbed dat nite, they took phones, laptops containing project work, and other valuables, they were eventually caught, i dont think d sch has d capacity to police off campus, even d campus is nt dat safe, d students just have to b vigilant and protect themselves and properties.

I schooled over there, and it was a norm. I don't see the security officials performing their duties despite having their Headquarters close to the school vicinity. A pity that the school authorities are also mum about these criminal acts.

It's been total blackout for almost 2weeks at Bosso, we only have chances to charge our phones & systems 9am-12pm and 7p-10pm using the university generator. I'm just scared seeing this because I just entered my house now from school. Baba GOD na your protection sure pass abeg no comot am for my head.

3 things are involved wen u go to a night class and u are returning home in Mx city.
1. Sleep in class after reading, I belive u should av friends in d hostels or u sleep in any of d classes- DH, D block, etc
2. Walk in groups
3. Harm urself with dagger, sorry to say those Bosso boys no get mind wen they see u with one. From experience though. I av met dem several times in NY, kinkin and d rest wen I was still in school.
Treat yourself, get well soon and do any of d above.

I even heard the VC said that the security of students living off campus is not his problem. you can imagine! God help us all.
