Can u mention one thing the Professor said that hadn't been said before by the people u so love to hate?

Maybe I should tell u "Good Morning" for just waking up

well Good morning to you too. Hope you had a great night rest.

juxtapose Nnamdi Kanu's words with that of the Prof and you will see the big difference there.

while one is busy cursing other tribes and calling for ethnic cleansing, the other has just laid out sensible arguments why there can be a referendum or at least true fiscal federalism.

one was busy calling out the federal government, insulting the person of the president (because he isn't from his tribe), and calling Nigeria a zoo (because somebody lost an election), thereby insulting everybody living in the country, while the other in his speech has been calm and respectful of constituted authority and even to past leaders when he has had to disagree with them.

some will call the former brave and a warrior (he is behind bars now), and the same people will call the latter a coward because he is Yoruba and he understands the art of negotiation and diplomacy (he is well respected in the world and a free man today).

A sizeable number of the SW voted for GEJ but it wasn't enough. At the moment, PMB is appearing a very costly miscalculation.

Wrong. Those votes Jonathan got in the SW are mainly non indigenous people living in the SW.

Go ask people living there. cool

and just for the records for those who don't know, the Yoruba nation has never been against anybody's bid to leave the union called Nigeria.

if you disagree with this you will need to prove this assertion wrong.

no he is not. if PMB were to be a weaker-willed individual like Jonathan, this country would have been in a bigger mess than it is now.

do you know the number of militant groups that have sprung up since the president assumed power all because their son lost a second shot at Aso rock? combined with fighting boko haram in the North, trying to stabilize the economy that was pillaged by Jonathan and his cabal, plunging oil price in the international market, add to all these the fact that corruption has fed fat and sensing its imminent death, is using the resources it has acquired to fight back tooth and nail.

yet the ordinary citizen on the street is aiding corruption to fight back by castigating the efforts of the watchdog and mocking the progress made so far.

the problem isn't PMB, the problem is the citizenry whom most have never left the shores of this country hence have no idea that their lives can actually be better than it is.

we are so accustomed to living like paupers we see it as normal.

There's no single country whose so-called sovereignty isn't negotiable. Democracy has no end; people must continue to renegotiate their coexistence, especially where the constitution was wickedly designed ab initio to frustrate, suffocate and thwart the growth of some other regions.

What's actually treasonable is when a people with no shared values and beliefs are forced together. Such entity must be continually sustained with violence, threats and bloodshed.

This is 2016. Every people must seek their own progress and happiness.

Nigeria's sovereignty is very much NEGOTIABLE. And it shall be negotiated very soon.
the clock is fast ticking,if we won't negotiate because of who we are, time will certainly negotiate for us cos noting under d sun last forever

No need for that.
Buhari already agrees with Soyinka on this as he promised true federalism long time ago.

Thank you Soyinka. Move away from the establishment that has held this country captive since independence. It is for their good but they don't see it. We refuse to crash and burn with this country. Anyone that fails to realise that this country is becoming increasingly ungovernable is the real enemy and grossly unpatriotic.
