Hi all

Am new here.... pls I have a few questions regarding student permit as I have just been offered admission in Canada;

1. For proof of finding, apart from my salary account, my spouse's salary ,our child's trust account, we have a business account ( Bleep enterprises, me and my wife are registered joint owners) but she is the sole signatory to the account( I can't be a signatory because of my work place policy). This is where we have 90% of the funds. Will it suffice for the proof fund or do I move the money to a personal account prior to our visa application?

2. If my wife is pregnant will affect her chances of securing a work permit alongside my study permit Visa?

I will appreciate your assistance in answering these questions.

Warm regards.

Hello guys, I have been following this thread for a while and I must say as a silent observer, you guys a doing a great job and I wish you all nothing but the best smiley I submitted my application via paper route on the 26th of may and up till today I haven't gotten any mail from vfs. I mean that acknowledgement or confirmation mail u normally get from CIC that your application has been received. But when I tracked my application with the tracking number that was given to me in the office I discovered that my application is already being processed in Accra. I checked my email address in the forms and it's correct. Little things like this will start making someone think whether he or she is on the right path or not undecided... Biko has this happened to anyone before?

Yeah, relatively small. To put the land size into perspective for you:

- You can fit 12.8 Londons into Kano State.

- You can fit 7 Englands into Nigeria.

- You can fit 3.8 United Kingdoms (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland combined) into Nigeria.

cool

Good morning all as we await the news each day, virtually the April applicants here have been contacted by cic for paper route. the ideology behind being called for medical and later denied still puts me in dilemma. Moreso those approved for April applicants have shared their testimonies, while some boldly shared their refusal. Some ''awaitees'' on @Acrayo's list for PGD/PGC for APRIL who could also share their news are keeping us in suspense for us to be able to clear this stipulating speculations that M.ENG,M.SC,PHD are mostly been attended for paper, though 2 PGDs got refused recently as they did share the news.

for MAY applicants, mostly those for MASTERS/PHD/M.ENG for paper route have been contacted for medicals from the OBSERVATIONS HERE, while PGD,PGC for paper also anguish in worries angry living us in mere speculations that our files are just kept in archives grin. though those that did upfront medicals have got it passed even of which if i had done i would also get it passed so upfront medical is 50/50. so the PGCs/PDGs and also some M.SCs who applied late MAY/MAY-Ending might also hear from CIC any time in JULY if favoured,so lets keep logging on NairaLand and reading daily posts like newspapers. i can't speak for online routers cos their own waiting can keep me in coma

JUNE applicants chill and expect news starting from 2/3wks upwards in JULY, atimes it might come earlier or later if you are awaiting medicals at least to raise your hopes from your worries grin while those that submitted online since MARCH haven't got any reply from CIC though some people never give back to this forum when approved/refused,but i am speaking from my observations of what i read here daily.

CIC has made me worry like i have never done in my life before! let the new month we step on tmrw bring us favour. Amen! lemme concentrate on my office work while i observe here for pending news as usual grin

No mind am,he said studying abroad is for the rich and well to do,not for everyone,if u cant afford the raise in forex then u leave it. I remember watchin one aljazeera correspondent asking him dat he stoped this medical thingy nd skyrocketed the forex so that parents whose children are studying abroad or paying medical bills wud find it difficult, wat of his own children, leadership should be by example are dey not studying abroad? D mans answer was dt schooling is not meant for everyone,if u can afford it then go for it. I wan crase,am telling you. Check it up online,i guess if u search google it wud be there.

If the application has exceeded the processing time of when you applied, you may send a case specific enquiry or you may chill.

Pls dnt go and complicate issues for urself dat wud lead to banning of ur app. Jst be truthful about who he is and construct a convincing SOP as to his purpose of wanting to sponsor your study. It should be really convincing,na where the work dey.

Try putting your passport Number well as well as the entry/expiry dates well. it happened to me and an acquaintance too..also choose first category "temporary resident"and sub-category "study permit and extension". If u v UCI number already just cue it with ur family name but if you dont, just cue in ur name as u wrote it in ur application form with ur date of birth,i guess it ll work now.but if u v exceeded number of trials a day u ll v to check bk in 24hrs
