1. If Buhari prosecutes an Igbo man for corruption, Igbo people will say he's doing ethnic cleansing.

2. If he prosecutes a fellow Fulani man, they will say it's because the criminal is a PDP member.

3. If he prosecutes a fellow APC member, they will say it's because the criminal is giving Buhari a tough time within the party & they're trying to frustrate the accused out of the party.

4. If he prosecutes someone that doesn't belong to any political party, they will say it's because the criminal is an anti-government critic.

They're yet to say whether the person being prosecuted is guilty of the said crime or not. We're simply comedians! I already said it. Buhari's anti-corruption fight won't be possible inasmuch as we keep politicizing and ethnicizing the whole thing. To discover that the same set of people that want corruption stamped out are the same ones saying all these things breaks one's heart.

When GEJ was president, why didn't he also prosecute all the thieves in the opposition? He was trying to be Mr. Nice? Mr. Nice that landed us in what we are in right now?

Get me right. I want Aregbesola's account frozen like Fayose's. But if I'm to distribute gifts to a group of people whose names are on a list, does it matter whether I start from the top, bottom, or middle? The most important thing is that the name of anybody that gets the gift is on the list, isn't it? Ok. What if the gift finishes before it reaches some people?

Well, in this case, it's not exactly the same. Buhari's gift is enough to go round everybody. So no matter where he starts from on the list, nobody will miss out on the gift. And nobody can dictate to him where he should start from. He made the list, not you or me. He that makes the list reserves the right to start anywhere he wishes. Instead of wasting our energy arguing on where he's starting from, we should ask whether someone who doesn't deserve a gift has gotten one. If that hasn't happened, then what has the noise been all about?
what exactly is wrong with some of you people?

where did you see "Igbo " mentioned in that report?

do you guys see igbos in your dreams or what....?

this is a good development, but why is it that it is the efcc that is handling their case, while that of Buratai is been handled by the same military he heads? i believe if these guys in the airforce can't save to buy these houses as Buratai did, the Buratai Saving Tactics (BST 101) should be taught in our universities as a major course.

The house will be forfeited back to the Queen and the money will have to be released after a protracted court process that may take another 20 years during which time UK will be trading with the money.

where does a bloody civil servant gets "colossal sums of money" to return to the government?

I concur. Reading your comments actually made my day. Until we stop politicizing the fight on corruption we actually would not get any where as a nation. Let's support the government of the day to clean the house. I am not expecting 100% from him but he needs our collective support because this people had bled our commonwealth almost to deaths. I tell you, Nigeria would have collapsed if the modus operandi of the last 16 years had continued. Let's call a spade a spade. Corruption, is inimical to the growth of any nation.

you are obviously deluded if you think it will circle round to APC . Supposed charity begins at home, how come he aint starting from APC members? Even better, what if he went after previous PDP but now APC? that will lend his fight much needed creedence.

You spoke very well and I agree with what you said cos I am guilty of always criticising the people buhari's EFCC are picking out for fraud.

The issue wailers have with Mr President is on issues of nepotism in appointments(see appointments in kitchen cabinet), vengefulness in victory (5% remark)favouritism in policy(grazing reserves and silence over Fulani herdsmen carnages) not mentioning the killing of scores of armless IPOB protesters without option of dialogue; flouting court orders, elongated detention of alleged looters.....and what is worst is the appointment of persons with large corruption cases like Fashola, Amaechi into his cabinet

You can do all these things and expect people not to sneer at your efforts at going after looters
