That is not a Nigerian wife! Stop misleading people!
That is clearly a Ghanaian style of pounding fufu and they use mostly cassava, plantain and cocoyam. Ghanaian fufu is not made with ''yam''
Even the shape and size of the pestle and mortar will clearly tell you that what is being prepared is NOT a Nigerian dish!

The Ghanaian way of pounding fufu is for one person to use the pestle while the other uses his/her hand to turn the fufu in the mortar, that is why you see the woman sitting close to the mortar. In the Nigeria style, only one person holding the mortar does the turning and the hand is not used for turning so you would not necessarily see anybody sitting close to the mortar!

His hair looks wavy and his nose is too protruding. I don't think he's Asian.

Your observation is correct,the man is just posing for the pic while the woman is real person that is doing the pounding lo.

There are alot Chinese and Lebanese in Ghana. Most Ghanaian ladies are aggressive in hooking up with white foreiger.
