If true, why do some Christians normally use the ignorance or evil act of some set of so-called Muslims to judge all muslims,?

Islam is a religion of peace but Christians are always quick to make references to the evils done by some set of Muslims whereas, they also have some people among them who are more evil than devil himself...

POINT : You don't judge a religion or the worshippers in that religion by the act of some set of people practising that religion...

Exodus 22:20 was not referring to all people generally. It was God's people whom Moses was leading out of Egypt to the promised land, Cannan that were forbidden to make sacrifice to other gods.. At that time, there were people of other nations, including Egypt who were pagans and Israelites never went there to kill them.

The same cannot be said about the muslims, who would leave their own place and go to other nations to force islam on the people. Muhammad fought many religious wars outside of Mecca and Medina.

I used to wonder when muslims say islam is a religion of peace, which is the exact opposite: Muhammad said he was given an order by Allah to fight ALL PEOPLE till they confess that none has the right to be worshiped besides Allah. How do you call fighting all people to force a religious belief on them peace? Even you, you are a product of violence perpetrated by some muslims in the history of the world and yet you say islam is a religion of peace. What an irony!

You made a valid point by showing to us the context in which the exodus verse was used by here you are claiming that Mohammed forced people to become Muslims...
The main point of this thread is to stop making general judgement of another religion by the act committed by some set of people in that religion...
But here you are falling into that ocean again....

Your thinking must be very shallow

Bukhari (8:387) - Allah's Apostle said, "I have been ordered to fight the people till they say: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah'. And if they say so, pray like our prayers, face our Qibla and slaughter as we slaughter, then their blood and property will be sacred to us and we will not interfere with them except legally.
With this, do you still call islam a religion of peace?

Sahih Bukhari (52:220) - Allah's Apostle said... 'I have been made victorious with terror'
With this, what do you say is wrong with terrorism?

Quran (2:216) - "Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.

Quran (4:74) - "Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward."

Now, how do you reconcile the above incitements to violence with the quote of peace in the OP? ISLAM is such a religion that springs forth hot and cold at the same time, yet muslims shout "no contradictions in quran". What a pity!

@HazzanTazzan

Do you still have the moral justification to condemn the Islamic terrorists who are following the clearly stated islamic injunctions?

I am not judging the terrorists by their actions but by the sources of their actions, the quran and hadith

Chai... Double twale for this ur shallow brain...
You could debunk the exodus verse quoted in my pic based on the fact that it was quoted out of context but here you are giving me some stupid quotes about words of the Quran...

Who translated those verses? Did you care to read the full context of those verses?

Again... I created this thread so Christians can stop lifting "out of context" quotes from the Quran and using it to condemn islam...

Obviously you @truthman2012 do not have the intelligence to debate this topic... I guess I'd wait for a more knowledgeable fella

If you know peace is a virtue and you are a man of peace, you should embrace the the Prince of peace, whose life was free of violence, Jesus Christ.

I commit you into the hand of Jesus, who alone is capable of delivering you from islamic captivity.

Ordinarily, my posts up there should be clear enough for every reasonable person.

It is indeed an eye opener. Those Quranic verses and hadith to which you couldn't comment have opened people's eyes.

Don't mind him, he can only deceive the gullible. People are leaving Christianity 'em masse and he couldn't do anything about it. The fool is blaming Islam for it.

Smh!

God is separating the goats from the sheep. The unholy and violent ones will find comfort in islam.

By the way, perhaps you don't know the number of muslims accepting Jesus on daily basis surpasses the number of nominal Christians crossing to islam. We don't make noise about it and in fact it is dangerous to because of your law of apostasy.

Truthman leave them,, the bible says In the book of Titus 3:9 " But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the Law; For they are unprofitable and Vain.". U see brother, u can't convince them because the accuser of the brethren has blinded them spiritually!..arguing with them will only generate anger within ur heart, which is not christ-like!..all we can do is to pray for them!..because the Bible has made it clear that "whosoever believeth in him(Jesus christ) should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only Begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his son into the world to condemn the world; But that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: But he that believeth Not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten. Son of God."..JOHN 3: 15-18.

condemn the koran that instigate people to die the course of jihad. Since I was born and grown up the news on cable, the one am witnessing remain thesame to all those muslims with tally with the teaching of mohammad and koran so what's fuss there now? Check your manual of terrorism, then condemn the act publicly okay. But no any muslim man can do that because even they try to they will be killed the next day.

By their fruit, you shall know them. Whenever they want to feign peace, they quote: there is no compulsion in religion.

In reality, there is compulsion to follow Islam. Check anywhere in the world where Muslims are majority you will know that religion is by compulsion.

If I was caught as a Muslim stealing or committing zinna (adultery) can I be free from Sharia if I claim that I am no more a Muslim? Will that new confession not lead to my being beheaded?

No compulsion indeed.

If you know your Bible and your Qurran very well, you will know also that "Only God judges".

Islam is a religion of Love and not of Peace. The Qurran is written to emphasise obedience to, and love for God. There is no instructions on Peace in the Qurran. Unless the Islamists are referring to "The Book" which is the Bible as instructed in Exodus 14:14. The Book, also curses the Muslims in Genesis 16:12, that they will know no Peace except the one allowed them by People of The Book.

I know a woman who just returned from Omar. She said nobody dares carry the Bible in that country, otherwise he/she will be arrested. So it is in all islamic countries. How is islam a religion of peace? Islam is from the devil, undoubtedly.
