LastMumu:Lolz Bro inflation affects everything not just money market, inflation is existent in the "real economy" itself at the moment. Invest in transportation, agriculture? ? Not a bad idea, but not for a working class who is dependent on salary. I mean before you invest in those businesses, you must have attained a stable capital base and you and I both know you in invest with the returns of what you have invested in. So how does a salary earner just take his/her salary and throw into a business with unforseen risk, when not even at the liberty of having enough time to oversee it. ... Imagine investing in agriculture and being hit by a tomato "ebola" ![]() |

Mannylex:Yeah I know lol, but if an investment in the real economy guarantees one an higher ROI above the prevailing inflation rate, it looks like a relatively better option to one with lesser yield. Invest in transportation, agriculture? ? Not a bad idea, but not for a working class who is dependent on salary. I mean before you invest in those businesses, you must have attained a stable capital base and you and I both know you in invest with the returns of what you have invested in. Imagine investing in agriculture and being hit by a tomato "ebola"Yeah I agree with you bro, it is the same dilemma I find myself right now. ![]() |

This looks easy but it is not because everyone will arrive at a different answer. Let's see who will get the right answer first. Amicable09 bought goods worth ₦200 and paid the shopkeeper with a ₦1000 Note. The Shopkeeper had no change on him so he went to another Shopkeeper Lero15 his neighbour and collected ₦1000 change in ₦200 denominations, with which he settled Amicable09 and she left. A little while later, Lero15 came back angrily after he discovered the ₦1000 note he was given by the shopkeeper was fake, and demanded a replacement. To avoid trouble, the shopkeeper had to give Lero15 another ₦1000 and destroyed the counterfeit which had no real value. So Question for the geniuses… How much has the Shopkeeper lost in total? A. ₦1200 B. ₦2000 C. ₦1000 D. ₦1800 E. ₦2200 Support your answer with analysis. |

| Re: Jobs/vacancies Section Chatroom by Jazmiynne: 10:16pm On Jul 02, 2016 |
LastMumu:C. 1000 I'd like to work under the assumption that the shopkeeper sourced for "change" with his own #1000 note BEFORE collecting amicable09's money. So I'm working on the premise that the money he gave to Lero15 is a good #1000 note that was thus changed by Lero into 200 notes. (No loss) Which means when amicable09 brings her fake #1000 (which in reality is valueless paper), the shop keeper has change and thus gives her #800 (first loss) change in return for her #200 (the second loss) purchase. Hence, I'd say he lost #1000 |

davide470:Lol how him take dash Lero N1000? If you give me N10,000 and I give you paper, then you come later in the evening to request for your N10,000, can't you see I technically borrowed the money from you, it wasn't a dash. |

Jazmiynne:If your assumption stands, then Le wouldn't demand for a new note 'cause the note would have been a "good #1000 note." Hence, your reason is ingenuine. |
