Do you work in an Environmental Consulting firm? Kindly send me a PM. I need help. Thanks.

Please help share this.
I know someone doing his PG Internship at Environmental Rights Action/Friends of the Earth in Bayelsa.

Does it count as an Env. Consulting firm?

If your assumption stands, then Le wouldn't demand for a new note 'cause the note would have been a "good #1000 note." Hence, your reason is ingenuine.
Of course we are all aware that the particular #1000 note the shopkeeper changed was amicable09's own money hence Lero's demand for a refund.

The assumption is simply that - an assumption. It helps us to "see" the problem clearly in our mind's eye. It's just like solving a maths problem and saying "Let x be the number we are searching for"... Definitely that doesn't automatically translate into meaning that x is Actually that number we are searching for. The assumption just helps us to solve the problem easily.

This looks easy but it is not because everyone will arrive at a different answer. Let's see who will get the right answer first.

Amicable09 bought goods worth ₦200 and paid the

shopkeeper with a ₦1000 Note.

The Shopkeeper had no change on him so he

went to another Shopkeeper Lero15 his neighbour and collected ₦1000 change in ₦200 denominations, with which he settled Amicable09 and she left.

A little while later, Lero15 came back angrily after

he discovered the ₦1000 note he was given by the shopkeeper was fake, and demanded a replacement.

To avoid trouble, the shopkeeper had to give Lero15 another ₦1000 and destroyed the counterfeit which had no real value.

So Question for the geniuses…

How much has the Shopkeeper lost in total?

A. ₦1200

B. ₦2000

C. ₦1000

D. ₦1800

E. ₦2200

Support your answer with analysis.

My explanation in paragraphs:

P1. When Ami gave shopkeeper fake 1k and collected the goods, it means the shopkeeper has earned zero revenue but incur a loss of #200.

P2. When shopkeeper gave Le fake #1000 and received five $200 denominated notes, it means shopkeeper has unconsciouslly transferred his #200 loss to Le and has revenue of 1k; profit of #800.

P3. When shopkeeper gave Ami #800 and keeps the remaining #200, it means he has revenue of #200; at breakeven

P4. Now, when Le realised it's a fake note and shopkeeper changed the fake with an aunthetic, it means Le has transferred back the #200 he unconciouslly incurred in P2. This obviously means shopkeeper has made a loss of 1k.

Boss LastMumu, I correct?
