That is sex education for you. You enlighten her and leave her to make her choice to either abstain or become sexually active.

Thanks for them basic common sense reasons why one should teach a female and male child sex education, in this case the female child, teach them everything they need to know at their age and then they are left with the choice of whether to abstain and what to do if they ever get active, just reading the comments on this thread, especially the ones from females shows Nigeria really has a long way to go, sad

in 2016 some people still can't grasp the need for child sex education, something i have been exposed to since 2004 when they would teach us, show us videos of parents and child teaching and here in 2016 some people still frown at a mother doing the right thing, like seriously what do they teach most of you people in school, English poor, reading long articles is stressful now sex education again, some still see the woman as over doing it or it's wrong and all that..

This is nothing but ~~telling~~ training her daughter to become a wh.ore since she'd be confident that condoms would protect her against aids and unwanted pregnancies, thereby eroding the fact that sex is meant for the married couples only and not the other way round.

People, where is dignity? Where is the fear of GOD? Where is chastity? Where is the value of the womanhood? Sex education that teaches how to have sex and not how to abstain is sex promoter and encourager.

lovely lecture. is betta to teach ur children at dere early age wat to knw so dey don't make mistake. the reason why our naija kids are misbehaving is bcuz some parents are shy of teaching dere young girls wat to knw and how to avoid dem for future sake. dats why dey end up being molested and also bringing shame to d family. train up a child in the way he/she should grow and wen he/she is at youthful age will not depart frm it or make mistakes.....
