is the tptwp same as the azor azhai?
So why can't he has taken her as a wife ?
Her bethroyal to the baratheons could have been broken for a more Powerful alliance with crowned prince
The targs have taken multiple wife before,if this was just to prove a prophecy I see no reason why it can't happen again.

Hopefully we get a full story from either the show or book

d story long small already

Tptwp is azhor ahai according to some, to others no. D legends old, so it seems like a lot is lost in translation.

As for taking a second bride, that would be near impossible. Aegon was already married to his sisters when he conquered the 6 kingdoms. Besides, which of the conquered could stand up to their new overlord?

The only other targ during their reign to have more than one wife was maegor the cruel. He's called cruel for good reason. It was also early on in their reign (he was 3rd targ king, direct son of Aegon ) and even at that, he was essentially banished from the kingdom as a prince for taking a second wife without the consent of the church or his father.

Rhaegar would never have gotten his father's approval. Their relationship was so bad at the time, a civil was expected to spring up at anytime between them. In fact, even if they had quelled Robert's rebellion successfully, there likely would have been another conflict immediately after. Rhaegar had been planning for thay

As for the church , consider Aegon The unworthy ( Not the conqueror. ) very worthy of the tag 'unworthy'. He had bastards in all 7 kingdoms. And legtimized them all on his death bed, knowing full well it would lead to war smiley

He was that much of an a$$hole, but even he didn't (more likely couldn't) take on more than one official wife. Church no go gree

All of u blaming Jon Snow for being emotional.....how would u feel if Rickon is ur brother.

He did what every human being with a heart would av done in that position. Even Sansa would have done the same thing if she were to be present at the battle ground initially. Or do you expect Jon to just shrugged it off....and return to the line. No, I would av done the same thing.

And the north should look out for Sansa, years of facing cruelty in the hands of the Boltons and Lannisters has turned her to a a f*cking b*tch. She can do anything to anybody now, even Jon Snow should be wary of her.

I too felt like someone had to keep fighting for Ricckon's life. I will also want someone to want to do everything in their power to save my life even if they failed at least someone cared enough to try.

Well you don't expect a wolf in a medieval kind of war where arrows are flying around... and again they were trying to save cost...

I may have to be more discriminating when deciding to who to respond to in future

I will try and answer your post, not because I believe it is of any particular value or worth replying, but just to show how events as they happened are considered irrelevant, when the defence of a beloved character is of utmost concern. Seems like even the facts are not allowed to get in the way of your narrative

For instance.

This is a bold faced lie.

Lord Glover on why he refused to answer Jon -

"Yes, my family served House Stark for centuries. We wept when we heard of your father's death. When my brother was Lord of this castle he answered Robb's call and hailed him King in the North! And where was "King" Robb when the Ironborn attacked this castle? When they threw my wife and children in prison and brutalized and killed our subjects? Taking up with a foreign wh0re... getting himself and those who followed him killed."

You can see that Glover is clearly questioning Stark Leadership here....No mention of the word 'Bastard'

Lord Manderly on why he refused to answer Jon -

""Lady Mormont speaks harshly... and truly. My son died for Robb Stark, the Young Wolf. I didn't think we'd find another king in my lifetime. I didn't commit my men to your cause because I didn't want more Manderlys dying for nothing."

Again the questions of leadership is raised, framed against a concern that Jon would have the Manderlys die for nothing'

Both Lords are very particular in pointing out that the safety of their men was of utmost priority, and neither one of them felt that Jon could guarantee their continued safety.

Another bold faced lie. Davos never sold Jon to Lyanna as a great leader. Instead he appealed to her instinct for self-preservation.

His speech below

"Jeor Mormont and Jon Snow both understood that the real war isn't between a few squabbling houses. It's between the living and the dead. And make no mistake my lady, the dead are coming."
As long as the Boltons hold Winterfell, the North is divided. And a divided North won't stand a chance against the Night King. You want to protect your people my lady, I understand. But there's no hiding from this. We have to fight. And we need to do it together"

I agree...which is why I did not focus on that in isolation. Like I said, he saved some of them from the whitewalkers and then offered them sanctuary at Castle Black doing away with a tradition that has held several centuries, and at the expense of his own life...yet these guys are still reluctant to fight for him at Winterfell. He has made enormous sacrifices to keep the wildlings alive, and yet was still unable to muster their loyalty without help- HOW COME?

This is exactly the point. The Lord Commander of the night's watch perfomed an noble act that was morally right. Yet his subordinates disagreed so strongly with his decision that they actually chose to MURDER HIM. If that is not the biggest exhibit of a lack of faith in his leadership, then I don't know what is.

I'm done with this debate. I cannot continue to repeat myself and deal with the same non-coherent arguments time and again.

No vex bo cheesy

So basically, your argurment in summary is that Jon Snow is a bad leader because his followers at one point or another did not have faith in his leadership... Am i right?

My friend shut the fvck up.

I posted my own views and did not try to convince anybody else
For the past 72 hours I keep getting quoted by roaches by yourself, who have neither the individuality to make an original assertion, nor the intelligence to comprehend a holistic argument when you see 1.

My post regarding the red wedding was answering a tangential question that the other guy asked. Are you really so dumb, that you can't realise that this section of my post wasn't talking about Jon?

I actually can't even be arsed to go over the rest of your post for fear that the stupidity contained therein might be contagious.

Nihilist does not beg you for money to buy data. If you see a post you don't agree with, just jump and pass. I get that people interpret things in different ways. I don't really care how you interpret the events on the show, but please if you chose to quote me to attack my own interpretation, don't talk like a spastic.

It's tedious having to read 20+ mentions in less than 24 hours all spouting different shades of the same shyt.

Dude, you're too hard on yourself. Go and buy Panadol somewhere and take two tablets with a glass of water. It helps with the vitriol.

You are one of the attention seeking roaches referred to in that post.

I had previously given that guy notice on at least 3 different occasions to drop the shade in his posts to me and discuss without prejudice, or jump and pass, until I finally paid him back in his rude coin

Yet here you are, quoting a post that was not directed to you, trying to be witty and failing hopelessly at it.

I hope you gain some satisfaction in getting the attention online that you probably don't get in real life.

Good night.

The bitterness seems to have reduced in your post, so I guess the Panadol helped some. I'm happy for you.

Just when you have accepted that you would have to wait a full year for a new episode of “Game of Thrones,” showrunners reveal heartbreaking update.

HBO aired its sixth season finale of “Game of Thrones” on Sunday, June 26, 2016, and fans are anticipating its seventh season.

Just when fans have accepted that you would have to wait a full year for a new episode and season of “Game of Thrones,” showrunners reveal a very heartbreaking update.

David Benioff and D.B. Weiss appeared on the latest episode of the UFC Unfiltered podcast where they revealed that due to the long-awaited arrival of winter, season seven filming has been pushed back.

“We don’t have an air date yet, but this year will probably be a little bit later,” Weiss said.

“We’re starting a bit later because at the end of this season, ‘winter is here,’ and that means that sunny weather doesn’t really serve our purposes any more. So we kind of pushed everything down the line so we could get some grim grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot.”

In a recent interview with EW, the showrunners confirmed that the seventh season is the penultimate season of show which is based on the popular book series “A Song of Ice and Fire,” byGeorge R.R. Martin.

An official return date is yet to be announced for the show’s seventh season which was originally scheduled to return in April 2017.

Titled “The Winds of Winter,” the “GOT” season six finale ended with Daenerys finally coming back to Westeros; Jon Snow as king of the North and Cersei sitting on the Iron Throne.

I really don't understand why there has to be a showdown with the white walkers and their army of the undead.

The whitewalkers cannot cross the wall due to some magical protection. They could potentially cross the wall via branded stark.

But branded stark knows that the undead can't cross the wall. He also knows that the dead can piggy back on him to pass magical security.

So why doesn't he just stay behind the wall and die? if he does that, that's pretty much the whole white walker threat eliminated isnt it?

Every magic has a loop hole, even if "branded" stark does stay behind the wall, It has been said that the night king will find a way to cross the wall someday and that brandon need to be prepared for that. This isn't one of those obvious shows mate, I don't think the night king crossing the wall has anything to do with brans mark.
