Chuksgeo:
good old days, even foreign texts complimented the readings with such books like Animal Farm, Oliver Twist, Treasure Islands, 1984, Robinson Cruseo, Gulliver's Travel, Murder in the Cathedral, Silas Manner, The Mayor of Casterbridge etc even the popular Willim Shakespare's books like Julius Ceaser, Mcbeth, Hamleth, Othelo, A Mid-Summer Night's Dream, King Lear, The Tempest, Much Ado About Nothing,, The Taming of the Shrew, The Merchant of Venice, etc
God bless you!

The Incorruptible Judge - Ola Rotimi

The Concubine - Elechi Amadi
Arrow of God - Chinua Achebe
Animal Farm - George Orwell
The Village boy

This is Our Chance - James Ene Henshaw

I remember one funny character - Bambulu with his big big grammar.
The Incorruptible Judge was written by D. Olu Olagoke and not Ola Rotimi.

Is Samankwe in the Rainforest not the story about a madman?

There is a story book I have been looking for all my life. I am not sure if it is Samankwe in the Rainforest or Samankwe The Madman.
