HardMirror:Lol, this is pretty childish. So anytime God does not answer your prayers, it is a proof that there is no God. That is the summary of what you said. God did not make any promise that christians will not die in unfortunate circumstances. His Word is very clear to the fact of a fallen world and the inherent sufferings. He said evil men will wax worse and worse, there will be wars, troubles and tribulations. Jesus prophesied perilous times. You should have based your faith and primary hope on the unchanging Word of God, not on any prophecy by man. Yes, it is good to confess positively and even declare things by faith, and sometimes people may get carried away and claim to hear from the Lord when they did not. Humans are still humans, they are not beyond mistake. The early church faced tough persecutions and beheadings of their top men and families. They did not lose faith. Your case is nothing new under the sun. God saved Peter at one time in the book of Acts. We are told that he eventually was martyred. All these are nothing. Joh 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. |

HardMirror:Life is not better on the other side, we all know this. 1Co 15:19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. 1Pe 5:9 Whom resist steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. |

if this thing was really a pastor as he claimed? I believe he must have read the word of God and gotten answers to why all these things happen, are still happening and will continue to happen rather than blame God for it all. but its obvious, he was never a pastor maybe a satanic one. someone who claims to be a former pastor but does not know an iota of God's word? joker |

HardMirror:Wow so you have seen it all. Riiight! Nobody is forcing you to remain or return to Christ...not even Christ Himself will force you because all we do is built on choices. Your choice your life! But as for me I would sum you up with one sentence.....YOU HAD ZEAL WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE! End of story. Proverbs 19 vs 2 Romans 10 vs 1-3 |

HardMirror:And you were hoping God will go back on his words because a group of ignorant folks wanted him to? And because, he won't go back on his words as you expected him, he doesn't exists? Hahahahahahahaha. Guy, go take your medicine. That's why I keep asking you, the kind of Christian you were. Now am certain. You never knew God. What were your pastor's back up prayer points? Hey, Everything going on since Christ ascended into heaven are prophesies unfolding. God won't kill anyone. If these things don't happen then the word of God is not true, but because the word of God is true, these these things MUST happen. We know, we are expecting them. We are told that the world will hate us just it hated Christ, we were told we will be persecuted and killed. We were told we'll suffer for Christ' sake. These things will happen as a token to show that the people doing all these, are the sons of Perdition And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident TOKEN of PERDITION, but to you of salvation, and that of GOD. For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake; Philippians:1: 28-29. A true christian doesn't fear death. Only the uncertain as to where they will end are terrified of death. For a christian, to be alive is to be away from the Master, but to be dead, is to be present with the Master. To the unbeliever, death is a loss, to a believer, death is a call to Glory. For PRECIOUS IN THE SIGHT OF THE LORD IS THE DEATH OF HIS SAINT. Palm 116:15. Many more christians will yet be beheaded until the number is complete. And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: Revelation And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? Revelation:6:10And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. Revelation:6:11 Every Christian who knows what he/she is in Christ knows and should expect these things. Christ warned us that a time will come that people will kill us believing they are doing God a service. Is it happening? Your Bishop didn't know his Bible. You followed a man who wanted to change God's words. That will be effort in futility. No wonder you fell off. You never knew God. You saw God through the eyes of your bishop not for yourself. How am I even sure this writeup is yours? |

HardMirror:Wow, HardMirror, the name of the church is there makes the story true? Now listen. My younger sister just got conned by someone on Net who posted as a general overseer of a well known church. A Facebook account Complete with the pastors every detail. She was asked to donate to a child who needed surgery urgently. She was sent account details, she did. it was the next step the fraudster made that made my sister suspicious, and told me. You can mention Living Faith for all I care, you can say you are a pastor there, how can we proof that? Are we to call Bishop Oyedepo to confirm? Guy, graduate from Primary school. |

| Re: TRUE STORY: Praying Against Boko Haram After 70days Fasting by Nobody: 11:37pm On Jul 19, 2016 |
analice107:Exactly what I said. If his story is true which is highly improbable then what he had and still has is simply zeal without knowledge. He was always focused on men of God and not on God Himself. Paul said "follow me AS I FOLLLOW CHRIST" in order words check my works and my words with the word of God. Anytime I break away from the word do not follow. Indeed he was a primary 1 believer. |

naijadeyhia:You can imagine. And he is suppose to be a Pastor. What was he feeding the sheep under him with? The Holy Spirit is available for everyone, but some people will rather leave their pastor to confer with the Holy Spirit and whatever the pastor says, whether is true or not, they take. How can a man whose entire life was suppose to be reading the Bible, not know what the Bible says about this present age? The Bible says "He that is called of God speaketh the word of God. How can a Pastor allow his emotions a grief for what Satan was doing blindside him? Anyways, I see true through him clearly, he is fake. From the very first day I noticed his moniker, I knew he was fake. |

analice107:lol my dear even a slowpoke can read inbetween that thing's lies and deceit. Who calls himself a pastor and doesnt know an iota of God's word? Even fake pastors do but this thing right here is a hopeless deceiver. He even typed in one of his so called threads that he still has the holyspirit in him and speaks in tongues whenever he is bored. What a blasphemy |

Now im certain that this hardmirror us nothing but a liar. The only things he knows in the bible are what atheists have brought up. This story is as fake as his claim to being [fomerly] a pastor. I can equally claim to be a pastor as long as i mention a church's name and list their special programmesand locations of the HQ and branches ![]() If you have ever been a Christian, you'llknow that christianity is driven by faith in Christ alone!. Read Hebrews 12:2 let me help you in case you dont know where it is It says Looking up to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith!! I leave you with this ![]() |

For those of you saying that it's not God's responsibility to stop Boko Haram or other violent oppressors, and that bad things like BH continuing to destroy lives can't be attributed to God, then why do you (Christians/theists) attribute the good things that happen to you (even the tiny things) to him? If it isn't God's job to jump in and make things better for us just because we asked him (ignoring the fact that he blatantly promises he will in the bible), then why do you give him the credit for things like waking you up each morning, giving you a good job, helping you find your keys when you're rushing? God can be doing small small favors like that yet he can't even take down serious threats like Boko Haram, who have killed thousands of innocent people to date? Innocent people who pray to him daily? But he can help you find your wallet though. ![]() |

When I see threads like this and some comments here, I hold on to God the more. If God decides to remove all the evil in the world, how many people will survive? Is there not evil in most people in the world? Is there not an appointed time when evil will be dealt with? Why not just take it that God knows when it's safe and right to end evil? One day God will keep evil in its place, I just hope all you desiring it to happen absolutely will survive. |
