I see this as a nice gesture..

but we can do more as youths.
the amount you mentioning here has lost its value to the extent that its valueless even to a ten years old child.

here in Nsukka.
1 painter of garri is 550#
1 painter of rice is 1500#
1 painter of beans is 1200#
1 spaghetti is 180#
the list continue just like that.....


we need to do something and put a stop to the "e go better" mentality of our youths. 5k can not stand a test of time to me. but the way forward from this 21st century slavery is what I'm craving for.

how do we get into this mess, how are we going to get out of the mess

believe me, till next week, next month, even next year, you will still be receiving mails from Nigerians requesting for funds to start up a business or to solve family issues. that's when you as a nice person will start seen yourself as a foo.l

the. money you are sharing here can not get to those youths that are been discouraged from going to school. those youths who finish learning work but no money to buy instruments. those youths who don't have network or electricity in their village.

some youths don't even know if nairaland exits..

but one thing is sure, I can never regret going to school.
I will forever be grateful to my Dad for the great gift.....
