E nle ni ile yii o, e ku ojo meta. It's been a while. Sir. Forgiveness I no know you ve a preference for ur boy Awo(cos f d reason known to almost everyone here). Awo is talented no doubt about that. But he has lost his magical touch which in a decent team selection will make him drop behind Osimhen in d pecking order of our fast rising stars. You no like him pass us. But we must not allow sentiments to cloud our judgement. We pray he rediscover himself on time if he wants to be part of Golden generation. |

Omeruo, 22, who is currently training with Chelsea in London, will therefore still go on a season-long loan to Turkish champions Besiktas. “Top officials said Celta Vigo tried to sign Omeruo this week on loan, but their interest was late in coming as Chelsea have already agreed with Besiktas on the player,” a source informed AfricanFootball.com Central defender Omeruo is heading off on his fourth loan away from Stamford Bridge after he was shipped out to Dutch club ADO Den Haag, Middlesbrough and Kasimpasa by ‘The Blues’. He still has two years left on his Chelsea contract. TheGoodJoe:Which master? Every club has a way scouting talents and we know Liverpool is not a push over in this regard. We know Liverpool has produced world class players through their scouting system. We know Liverpool is no mate of Arsenal when it comes to English and European football. They are far ahead of Arsenal. So, tell me I pray you. Is Awoniyi an inferior player based on the pedigree of the club that saw his talent before paying for his services? |

TheGoodJoe:Which fantastic team work? So, Iheanacho didn't ride on the fantastic effort of his team to glory? He dribbled all the way from goal post to goal like Maradona to score all his goals abi? At least em know where post dey. Besides, Awoniyi raked in more assist than Yahaya who is an attacking midfielder. He outclassed him. Shikena! Who no no that one. |

TheGoodJoe:Facts and records simply means what they used their.. e drift, e combines, e posses, e passes neatly, e tracks, e overlaps, e tracks effortlessly etc take 'WIN INDIVIDUAL LAURELS.' Shikena! The rest na grammar. Like old men will claim em sabi play pass Pele but nothing to show for it. Yes! I have eyes God gave me to see but the judgment of many thousands eyes matter most. The world had judged already. Taye Taiwo better pass Celestine Babayaro. Fact! The world deals with facts and that's all. |

forgiveness: Did Yahaya who is a midfielder not score equal amount of goals with Awoniyi, 4 goals? Does that not show how poor he is? Do you know how many chances created by Yahaya that Awoniyi missed that would have increased Yahaya's chances? Now you are blaming Yahaya for Awoniyi's misses. Awoniyi raked more assists because the players he passed to can finish. Yahaya created chances that would have increased his assists tally but unfortunately, their attacker Awoniyi missed loads. |

forgiveness: There is no need arguing something that is too easy to tell. Eight years in Chelsea and 132 games for Chelsea with a Chelsea top player Graeme Le Saux in the same role says it all. Before Celestine Joined Chelsea, he was the best young player in Belgium for two seasons. Not best young wing back or defender. Best Young player. For someone who claims to have eyes and watch games, there is no debate here. This is what is called dragging. Shouting facts does not change nothing. They are not mates. Not in club football or Nigerian football. Taiwo's best performances was in a dead League with no competition. Ligue 1. Celestine's reign was in the EPL. Which legendary Super Eagles game will you see Taiye Taiwo? |
| Re: All The News About The Olympic Eagles (U-23) HERE! by TheGoodJoe(m): 12:32am On Jul 09, 2016 |
forgiveness: Your Ligue 1 facts and figures. As I said, it does not show anything when it comes to the left back role. Taiye Taiwo would never reign in the EPL as long as Celestine did. The kind of players Celestine faced in the EPL regularly, Taiye Taiwo would never smell. The type of players Celestine faced in the National team, Taiwo never smelt them. Facts and figures. Your fund of this kind of argument. That is how you ran up and down this thread breathing fire that Solanke is better than Iheanacho. Just the same thing. Shouting facts and figures. It just shows your football judgment. |

TheGoodJoe:Don't tell you don't know Awoniyi didn't not start two matches while Yahaya played all the matches from the beginning to the end? Do you know how many chances Awoniyi created for Yahaya and Co that would have increased Yahaya chances? Do you know how many chances Yahaya blew away that could have increased his chances due to his selfishness? Awoniyi passed those balls because he was not as selfish as most of his team mates. |

forgiveness: Stop arguing pure facts. He is a striker and had the most chances to score among all the team mates. There are highlights of this to show how poor Awoniyi was. Awoniyi was not fantastic. A better striker would have done more. Game after game, Awoniyi fluffed and missed Chances. If it was under Westerhoff, that guy will not play another game in that tournament. Yahaya would have recorded a higher assist figure if Awoniyi would just finish. One in one chances. Tap in chances he missed. You are here talking of him being better than one of the top promising talents in the game. Just as I told you about Solanke, I will tell you the same about Awoniyi. To play upfront and get to the top, you need high conversion rate. Awoniyi's conversion rate from the U17 till now has been poor. He has to step up. Breathing facts fire does not change it. He was not awesome at the U17. If you like point assist. He is a point man with poor conversion rate. Awo should hit the field and improve his conversion rate. |

TheGoodJoe:Which fact? You are not presenting fact, you are just presenting your opinion. The fact remains that Awoniyi didn't start in two matches. It counts a lot. Post highlights mo we see. He was not fantastic but came on in his second match to get an asisst and score the equalizer against Sweden. I know you will be among those who screamed goal with your hands almost chopped off. He wasn't good but he singlehandedly scored two goals against Uruguay. He was not good...... Game after game he rescued the team with his goals and assist. Who no dey miss chances? Yahaya? He missed more begging chances than Awoniyi. who no know that one? |

I laugh in Skills voice. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8in3DjLDrAw LOL. How does a midfielder get more begging chances than a striker. Was the striker that poor in getting to space? TheGoodJoe:I thought i was alone on Awoniyi's performances all along. If not for that unfortunate Isaac Success' injury who for know Awoniyi? Isaac Success would have made it up to atleast 7goals in that tourney considering he had already scored 2 goals by the first half of his 2nd game. I know a little bit if history of that team. Awoniyi was their top striker until Isaac Success gate crashed late into the camping and selection exercise. And this was after the team had played several series of friendly matches. It became Success all the way. Who knew Awoniyi at the CAF U17 tourney of 2013? |

I hope Amuneke is considering Yahaya, Zaharaddeen Bello, Chidera Ezeh etc for his under 20 team... They are also his boys so i am sure they will be considered later in the campaign. |

TheGoodJoe: Missing prowess of Awoniyi com turn to marketing of Yahaya. ![]() He was a winger in most of those matches. No excuse! After all, Ronaldo is not a point man but still had more chances than many point men yet he scores when he sees the opportunity. That can't said about Yahaya. Chai! Na even one assist em get and one of the goals he scored was as a result of Awoniyi's selflessness to assist him to had scored. Chai! ![]() |

AF Nigeria 2015 U23 Africa Cup of Nations Nigeria U23 Osimhen too important to Flying Eagles for me to pick for Rio - Siasia https://africanfootball.com/bp_images/2016/07/Samm_22_Dec_1.jpg Flying Eagles star striker Victor Osimhen by Samm Audu Nigeria Olympic team coach Samson Siasia has said he did not consider Wolfsburg-bound Victor Osimhen for the Rio Olympics because of how important he is to the Flying Eagles, who are campaigning to qualify for next year’s U20 AFCON. Osimhen was not picked in the 35-man provisional squad for the summer games next month in Brazil even after he featured at the U23 AFCON in Senegal in December. Siasia has now revealed that he overlooked the exciting young striker because he is the Flying Eagles most important player as they aim to beat Sudan to qualify for next year’s U20 AFCON in Zambia. “I am of the opinion that the boy is going to play a very important role for the Flying Eagles. I know Emmanuel (Amuneke) has an important Africa Youth Championship qualifying match to play where he needs the boy since he is a very important player for him in the team,” he explained. “So, if I should take him straight to the United States (of America) as at the time I left), am I helping the Chief Coach of the team or the team to qualify by depriving them of one of their important players? So, why would I go and destabilise his (Amuneke) team? “Victor is the most important player they have in the team. So taking him out of the Flying Eagles team now, how would Amuneke feel? “If you check the 65-man list we first made, Victor (Osimhen) was on that list. So, the player has been on my list before I decided to excuse him to help the U20 national team excel too. “I even took the boy to Senegal when they were reluctant to release him then. “They are now playing Sudan and you now take his number one striker to US camp, how would he (Amuneke) feel? “I let him to stay back to help Emmanuel in his quest to qualify the team to the African Championship. That is the true story about the issue.” africanfootball.com/news/633127/Osimhen-too-important-to-Flying-Eagles-for-me-to-pick-for-Rio-Siasia |

Leave Osimhen alone, you had plenty options to boost your attack. Obaje, Chikatara and Samuel would have added value to your attack. terzurum5: |

AF Nigeria 2016 Olympics - Men Football Belgium Mikel confirmed for Rio may force Belgian club to stop Ndidi by Samm Audu Thursday Jul 07, 2016. 15:24 Mikel Obi’s confirmation for the Rio Olympics may force Belgian club Genk to stop Wilfred Ndidi from next month’s summer games as they insist on guarantees from coach Samson Siasia their player will see first-team action in Brazil. Ndidi, 19, is one of several foreign-based stars Siasia is banking on to shore up his team for the Olympics after several other players were stopped by their European clubs. Siasia has already announced that Chelsea star Mikel has confirmed his participation for Rio, which means he is guaranteed first-team place and with Ndidi also now playing a defensive midfielder, his club do not wish to release him only for him to be warming the bench in Brazil when he could be earning his keep in Belgium. “Genk want assurances Siasia will use their player, if not they do not see the rationale for him to be at Rio Olympics,” a source told AfricanFootball.com But an official has reasoned that room could be created for Watford target Ndidi to revert to his old position in central defence particularly as Siasia is rebuilding that position following the long-term injury of Segun Oduduwa. africanfootball.com/news/633097/Mikel-confirmed-for-Rio-may-force-Belgian-club-to-stop-Ndidi |
