Op i appreciate your write up about on onitsha. The city has of recent been viewed negatively ranging from the dirty environment,erosion and high crime rate. This negative news has made people forget that onitsha was one of the best cities in nigeria. Many people may not remember that prior to 1967 onitsha was the educational nerve center of West Africa as people from different countries attended dmgs, christ the king etc.
Onitsha main market was the largest market in Africa but now it's a shadow of its former self. I wish you could search for old pictures of onitsha prior to 1967 as it can enable people appreciate what this city used to be.
