Pointless article from a senseless source. Kachikwu is now the chairman of the board of the NNPC! He still has oversight over their activities! He is also still the minister in charge of the NNPC! Maybe those illiterates in the creeks and their spare parts brothers want to ignorantly use this as another excuse to blow pipelines, pollte their land and kill themselves.

My problem is not about the removal of Kachiwu, but who replaced him, its not about competency, but there seems to be a calculative and strategic agenda of placing the Notherners in all strategic positions. I am a PMB supporter, but this issue of nepotism is where I disagree with him. We can't continue to pretend that all is well about the various appointments, its not about PMB or APC , its about the people of Nigeria.

in my own Opinion! We as nigerians should stop trading insult at the moment! Past and current govt betrayed us as people! Look at degree of curroptn in Jonathan govt! And see the greatest betrayer called Buhari! I can bet you that Zombies who Voted Buhari are more disapointed in him than the wailers! How can we explain those claim not to have been corrupt but swallow one Complete year budget with aclaimed recorvered loot in total! For me I tagged Buhari a "Beast" for watching nigerians in pain for one complete full year hopelessly! Nigerian people should understand that both Zonbies and the the Wailers as it is called are the Victims of the situation. It is time for us all to stand up to our responsibility to condem in strong term the beast called buhari. Becos there is no hope in this man's government,not even in 8years to come! I urge my Biafran brothers to step up their strugles, ND to continue in their task for justice because Buhari has already established Norther Republic and he's diverting our livelyhood to fund it.Qout me anywhere and don't forget to tell me one single achievement of this man in one year! Main reason for Kachikwu's demotion is to ensure that billions of Dollars from NNPC can be diverted to northern Nigeria or even stolen by northern people - without trace.

Northern Nigerians see oil money as free money. Buhari said Abacha was not corrupt. The best Stadium in far-north is called Sani Abacha Stadium. In saner societies, the stadium should no longer bear Abacha's name.

Whenever oil money is stolen by northerners, the thieves are hailed by the north, their zombies in the south who are gradually and finally being swallowed by north's main religious faith, Islam, look eyes left, or even justify the stealing.. But if anybody from the old east or Delta state steals oil money, northern politicians supported by their zombies in the south-end hit the roof tops crying - thief, barawo, ole!!!

Honestly, I do not know much about Baru, first class mech. eng.? That's impressive. Hopefully, he surprises us.

About PMB, he is more or less a figure head, Kachikwu runs that posistion for him, he represents him on the board of NNPC, as OPEC's president, at the senate when there is any query directed at the ministry or NNPC . . . that's a lot of work for Kachikwu I think.

What's happening is as obvious as it is disappointing: nepotism, pure and simple.

Unfortunately, the South is just reaping the whirlwinds of Dr. Goodluck Jonathan's winds. The appointments during his tenure were (unless my memory fails me) just as biased towards the South. Say whatever you like about Obasanjo, but history records that he was a better-than-average head hunter who did seem to follow talent wherever it led him. He did more than any other president in recent memory to give every part of the country a sense of belonging (my opinion).

Don't blame the Daura man; the North probably sees it as payback for GEJ (and to a MUCH lesser extent) OBJ.

The question is: what is the South going to do about it?
