Lol. Technically, every modem is unlockable. However, that smile isn't. In the sense that, Franklin told me to contact smile to unlock it for me and smile will not unlock it for you.

So, look for an alternative. Most likely a Huawei one. Cheers.

I have the same issue. It browses on the PS3 and the PS4 but doesn't connect to the PlayStation Network.
I called the Customer Care and was just told "Thank you for the feedback". I responded that it wasn't feedback but a valid complaint. Same thing with Instagram, where photos and videos do not load.


Same problem man any solution yet?

I think the server you are testing with is in Lagos. Use either EMTS Abuja or Spectranet Abuja to test. Should have better ping.

Or turn on the location setting on ur phone before opening the app.

Server was in Abuja not Lagos. I will retest but since yesternite the network has been having issues.

Btw, try on PC. My phone doesn't exceed 30Mbps. I don't know which phone u got, but it might be same.

Ok, you should note that sometimes there is a general downtime and also, sometimes it might just be the site you are connected to that's down. Whenever u have downtime, tweet @ntelcare and also include ur device and Location, EXACT location including the area not just state. Because if you don't, they will ask you so save urself the stress. I use a mifi, if it's just a site the browser will give an error. In this case the mifi's Web page shows whatever page you try to open.

Using this Ntel on an unlocked Spectranet mifi on my PS4 and PS3 but I can't get it to sign INTO my PSN account. It at least tries on the PS4 I can download digital media on it and watch YouTube. I have tried using dmz, port forwarding and proxydns to no avail.

Anybody have a similar situation? Any solutions?
Please how did you unlock your spectranet Mifi? I have the E5573 and it's locked. I want to unlock it. Thanks

I bought it off someone so I don't know how it was done. It's a E5573 as well so it's very possible, I'll ask and see if my guy can do it.
