I have a Confession!!!

Its been two weeks since my application

And it already feels like 2months.... #Sigh... I can imagine how people 2months longer in waiting feel.

We hope for the best.

Two weeks..... Hehehehe I laff in Japanese grin

Expect a text message from CIC any moment from now. grin

Wait oh.....can't we go to Accra and help CIC in sorting some of these plenty applications.

Its called corporate social responsibility. grin

It would reduce the processing time.

Hello...
It depends. It could be 1 yeah but with stated objectives and points. However, it could be 2-3... with well connected paragraphs. I personally feel it should not exceed 2-3.

Two pages is ok,well is still depends on how good you can write a flow essay that even the VO will want to read again....so aside the last page that will show necessary documents, financial documents etc,it shouldn't be more than 2pages,in addition to what Yemdogg posted about SOP,I think you need to put an interesting story on how you have interest in the program you are putting in for.

I just booked my flight ticket FROM LOS -ADDIS ABBA -TORONTO -CALGARY-KAMLOOPS for mid august ,I must say flight fares are very expensive now , I got mine for N530k ethopian airline which was one of the cheapest, the bad news is flight fare will increase in weeks to come ,August is the pick. # THE NEW FOREX PRICE IS THE MAJOR REASON FOR THE PRICE HIKE.

Thanks man.

Bsc Mathematics (2014)
NYSC (2015)
Diploma in Software engineering (2012)
I'm currently teaching Mathematics at a secondary school(2015 till date)
Got admitted for a PGC in computer application development at Conestoga college
SOP stating I developed an interest in software engineering right from University, hence the need to go for a PGC in a related course

Submitted docs relating to all the above

Sorry for the delay, just want to chip in one or two things that I think you should have included in your SOP. Mathematics and computer are related, in ur undergraduate course u must have done some computer courses (programming language) especially for solving numerical problems. And the course u applied for is computer applications development, which I believe make use of programming language, you probably should have link that up in ur SOP that you intend to to develop an algorithm that will solve some complex equations smiley, to let d VO see that computer and mathematics can't be separated.

Just an advice though

Hello DreamChaser

...Sorry about your delay. Maybe the VO did not realize the match between both degrees like I did not. (speculations)

However, I've been more than convinced to believe there is much correlation and I strongly believe they would not fail to see that too in your next application. Put in the strongly recommended advise for a "can't refuse" application and your second app will be worth it.

BTW, i'm changing my moniker to TheDreamAchiever... lol.

Would you mind telling us why your friends couldn't process PGWP?

Medical has nothing to do with your application. It does not prevent you from submitting.

Have you uploaded your optional documents? If you have uploaded everything, you should not have any difficulty.

Hope your files don't exceed 4mb?

Cheers.

Did you just say ethiopian airlines charged you 530,000 naira? guys this is not funny anymore. Imagine more than half a million for only flight? This is outrageous and unfair. I will prefer going to another neighbouring country before travelling if possible cos this fare is too expensive joor! o gini di?

Yes i have uploaded all supporting and optional document with the exception of IMM5257B_1_Schedule_1-Application for Temporary Resident Visa Made Outside Canada which is not mandatory. Though i have it filled and i had difficulty uploading it because of validation error.

All files sizes are less than 4Mb otherwise you wouldn't have been able to upload.

How do i locate the submit button.

Flight ticket is 500k at the cheapest...
CAD to naira is 223 at the cheapest.....(for tuition payment)

IF you intend using your mastercard in Canada....You will get a price around 267-280 naira to a CAD......

If you get PTA or BTA the bank would give at 290 naira to a USD.....(do not let us talk about black market)

The KIngdom of God really suffereth violence.....Money don turn coins......

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 10 by zeongeon: 8:41pm On Jul 11, 2016
I can see online that 1 CAD equals 215 Naira...I hope the CAD goes back to 150/145 at least I don't know how possible...This is really serious... The politicians mess up the country and its d average and poor masses that still suffer for it. All them greedy politicians with billions looted and stuffed in a place won't feel the impact of this currency hike nah still we the masses.

God help your children, I wonder how people will cope... When CAD was 145/150 parents and sponsors tried there best possible to see there wards have the best and now this this hike.

The country just keeps making things so difficult for the average and poor...The other time I saw 1 CAD equals 5 India rupees, 1 CAD equals 11S.A Rand. Why is this Country the way it is...That's why most young people just wants to get OUT of this oppressive nation.
