You will not pay any fee except you want delivery by courier which you might need to pay for. Also there will be no negative consequence if you submit at the VI office. I believe your application will be attended to same way if you submitted at Ikeja. Just make sure you have all required documents in place.

All da best

thank you bro. but i keep wondering why applicant choose to apply at ikeja and pay about N20,000 extra while they could get same thing done at V/I at a lesser fee. could it be processing time advantage, or success rate trend? lets thinks extra.

You must satisfy the entry clearance officer that you have sufficient personal and economic circumstances in your home country. In making this assessment, the ECO may consider your stated employment, length of employment and income. So many factors will be consider in reaching a decision, the letter from your employer on company headed paper detailing your role, salary, length of employment, and leave will earn you some points. Also provide your letter of appointment salary account and pay slips.

Most importantly the ECO may wish to see your bank statement showing salary credits. If your bank statement does not show salary credits, this may cast doubt.

You may wish to show evidence of your business and incomes from other business. This includes business documents, invoices, bills of lading, receipts of sales, tax certificates, etc.

The 4k, 16k and 36k deposit in your account is insignificant and won't work against your application, therefore you shouldn't lose sleep over it. But if you can write a cover letter explaining your other business, incomes etc. That would be fine.

For your budget, it should be realistic. Since your sister is providing accommodation and feeding and she knows the documents to forward to you, then you shouldn't have a problem.

Talking about length of employment. Please i need clarification. I work in a multinational coy but staff employment contract are renewed every year. Does ds ve a negative score from d ECO if stated on the letter of introduction. Or its better not to mention it at all.

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 3 by customised87: 6:44pm On Jul 09, 2016
@fakmurphy, why do u have different figures quoted for the cost to you personally for the trip and the total amount of money you have for the trip. I think they should only be different if somebody other than you is paying for part of the trip and the difference would now be the amount the person is giving you.

Well, I applied at ikeja coz of convenience and also less crowd. The success rate might be higher there maybe because they handle less no of applications. But I still believe if you have everything in place then there will be no cause to fear submitting at any centre.

Hello.

Is there any advantage of making use of an hotel booking over hostel booking? I'm speaking with respect to outcome of visa issuance.

Is it necessary I add my sponsor's(dad's) pay slip since he has provided a letter and his bank statement and data page of his passport?

Thanks.

Give brief details of all three refusals.

It is not about your closing balance. You must satisfy the entry clearance officer that you have sufficient personal and economic circumstances in your home country.

Your employment and income will be a major consideration in granting your visa. So many factors will be consider in reaching a decision. If you're employed, a letter from your employer on company headed paper detailing your role, salary, length of employment, and leave will earn you some points.

If you're self employed. You may wish to show evidence of your business and incomes from a verifiable source. This includes business documents, invoices, bills of lading, receipts of sales, tax certificates, etc

@ Justwise, @ FrontPageLawyer, @askari01:-

Please I will like to know if in the uk visa form, someone can put a mobile number as the contact details of employer who will be sponsoring a business trip.
This is because if the land line is used, the company representative may not be in the office to receive the call when the ECO makes calls to the company.
Please advice if the ECO accepts mobile number in the visa form or not. Thanks
