I have a simple formulae..just add 1 to the number on ur right and multiply...8*11+1
8*12=96.. check the previous answers also same formula works add 1 to the number on ur right and multiply with the left..

This question in itself is not correct, in mathematics there a lot of logic to an answer, depending on whichever method you use, it would give you a different answer, that is to say those who answered 40 are correct and those who answer 96 can also be correct...

this is a simple and logical illustration of how programmers embed a backdoor on a programme.

Either answer is correct, that's why in math final answer don't always get you the marks

Hmmm, I see...I was wondering how u guys arrived at 40. There is a problem with this approach it assumes 8+11 is the 4th term while infact it's the 8th term.
