1+4= 5 2+5= 12 3+6=21 8+12=? solution 1+4 = 5. bring the 5 down which is 5 +2+5= 12. bring the 12 down you have 12+3+6=21. bring 21 down you then get the final answer which. 21+8+12 = 40.
